The Whisky Thread

I remember sitting in an old pub in Scotland.. in an old chesterfield near the open fire. Circulating a nice cask malt .. a nice beer chaser inhaling the smell and sipping all night.. lol got carried out

When there is an expensive bottle of whisky that is shit and I avoid it. And Baileys is too weak. It makes both better ;)

Hey my beautiful @Dakota Cameron do you like Baileys?

I’ve always wanted to find a good Mead
I really enjoyed the Maxwell's Honey Mead but not sure about trying the spiced one, although spiced is probably more Viking traditional. Maxwell Honey Mead is fermented in South Australia and is currently $20 a bottle at BWS. The only mead I could find locally. 12.5% Alc/Vol near wines in store.

It is thought "Honeymoon" originated from Viking tradition of newlyweds being given fermented Honey Mead, enough for one Moon cycle, which should see the couple return pregnant with child from a month away.
