absolutely terrified!

I have a friend who had a Female Eastern State Diamond Back Python named Buddy... My friend was very comfortable with the snake even let it sleep in the bed with him as it loved the warmth... Now one evening he woke to buddy stretched to its full capacity laying next to him making a strange hiss type sound but dismissed it as a "snake kinda thing" and thought nothing of it, but in the following couple of days sleeping with buddy the snake continued the behavior so my mate took it to the vet to which he was told this was natural behavior and all that buddy was doing was measuring my mate up for HER NEXT MEAL! of course the snake was about 1/20th the size of my mate but unfortunately once Buddy had decided my mate would make a great meal the vet advised him he could no longer keep Buddy and she was euthanized (my mate was beside himself with grief)
 
I did a snake handling course once - the instructor said, " that piece of snake handling equipment is called a .22, you point the skinny end at the snake and pull the little lever called a 'trigger', then you go off and have a beer."

My kind of course.
 
ive had mr hiss (pretty sure mrs hiss would be more correct).
for nearly 9 years now
its grown from 1.2m to approx 1.8m now

Oh yes....am not scared of any type of creature except for snakes ( shiver ) , lets say I have a healthy respect for them lol.
