Good dog owners generally mean good dogs
A good snake owner does not equate to a well behaved snake A dog is instinctual yes but also a pack animal So used to a hierarchical /pecking order and a slightly larger brain than a snake
A snake is pure muscle and instinct

Just one example
and from overseas.
plenty of examples of other domestic animals hurting and killing kids.
that said pythons such as our olive python and scrub python when full grown should be considered potentially dangerous to small children.
ive seen a photo of a scrubbie killing and swallwing a 12kg wallaby.
you would have to think a small toddler could be potential prey to a snake that size

Deadliest Its how we use the word isnt it I mean If asked Australias deadliest animal The first named are usually Sharks Crocodiles Box Jellyfish Snakes and Spiders
But more Australians are badly injured or killed by horses in a year than any of the above
So Australias deadliest animal is The Horse

I never said there wasnt i am saying i dont leave my kids around any

as kids we were taught to observe and appreciate any wild animals but give them there space..
I mean lets face it the humble bobtail is fascinating for kids to watch big blue tongue and wide mouth ..... but harmless as they are your not going to let your kid play with one.... thats alot of tears

not quite they are killed by accidents involving horses (mostly falls);not by the horse.
very few people are actually killed BY horses

I always believed that the most venomous - as in poison strength was Australia's inland tapian.

As far as deadliest goes I would have chosen the Eastern brown at a guess because of how agressive they are. If you've ever been chased by one you know what I mean. And no H2 not at swanbourne that was the deadly trouser snake :P

Mr hiss taken then unfortunately it doesn't really show her size shes the biggest ive seen in the wild and at the various perth reptile parks. approx 180cm and she keeps growing and getting thicker. ive had her over 8 years and estimate her age to be 12-14 years old

Do you know what age they can live to in captivity at all bushseeker?
not really reptile longevity is fairly poorly understood even in the industry.
id be surprised if potentially it could exceed 50 years

I guess at this point if any ladys getting professional pics would like to use my snake as a prop... its available.. literally.. :)
