Good picks Alley, Mating in Captivity is one of my favourite!
My two picks are "Come As You Are" and "The Multi-Orgasmic Man"

"Come As You Are" taught me a lot about female sexuality, and how everyone has different accelerators and brakes to their desires in any moment or context. Really interesting.
"The Multi-Orgasmic Man" taught me a lot about my own body, and how I can be a better lover. It's a lot more mechanical, I guess, but it was also thought provoking.
Two books I haven't read yet but am really looking forward to getting to are: "The Ethical Slut" and "Sex At Dawn". If anyone has read them I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I've been reading a book called "The Ethical Slut" it talks a great deal about the issues both personal and social that come up when in poly relationships. I use a lot of the techniques ( the main one being open and honest communication) in my work practices. if nothing else it's a great read. hope you find some value in it

Sensuous Woman and Sensuous Man both written by "J" - Joan "Terri" Garitty,
Mayflower Madam by Sydney Biddle Barrows - the chapter about her training class for escorts is classic!; and
Supersex by Xaviera Hollander - great line drawings and some fabulous scenarios.
Of these, I think Sensuous Woman is still in print.
