After making a fool of myself to alot of well known brothels, escort agencies, adult massage etc (except VIC would like to avoid because home) and probably made a bad first impression by asking too many questions, some how I found this heavenly place and hope someone can help me feel well prepared to start in this industry or tell me what to do.

At first I was drawn into this industry because of all the articles I read about family like tight group, discreet, quick high earning and plenty of sex.

So I started researching, asking sex worker support organisations to emailing all legal looking work places and seeing an accountant and the more I research the more I seem to get different side of stories where:

-one says high earning and the other says industry is not as busy as it used to be.

-Or all the legal things that make it not possible for me to work without being on record (not because of shame but because of potential hassle I'd be getting from small minded people when I go back to 'normal life') and the others saying actually I can work legally but not on record.

-Or some says that girls are competitive (I don't do well in competitive environment) but some say girls are family like

as for money. ive found $1000, a day is very achievable more on prime days and once you get regulars but thats as a private and us alot of work dealing with timewasters

unfortunately, as much as I'm grateful for everyone who have taken time to read and write something for me, bushkeeper's was the only answer I found helpful...:(

Yes, I was advised, by most, going private is better. But I heard working as a private I'd have to register so I won't be able to work secretly?

I'm open to registering to work as a last option if I have to. But I want to first find out, if there are more options than registering but still be legal.

Also I was advised, to begin with, being part of a team in a brothel is safer and I get to learn before flying solo which sounded better suited to me.

But at the same time, brothels seems to like me to just jump into the work and learn as I go.

They seem to not like questions before starting or be suspicious like the above (I don't do twitter so don't know what putting a # in front of a word means but sceptical people, shrug, I let them be because I can't do anything about it)...

which makes me feel am I the weird one to want to research what I'd be getting myself into (esp a job known to have more illegal business operating than legal business), just as most people usually do before going in for an interview for any other jobs...

I have already tried calling brothels only to not have my questions answered but only hear their demands...and so keen on me visiting when I said I can't afford to do that till I start work...

If I had money to waste I'd just jump in the plan and go to a brothel and start and if not the right brothel I'd move to the next.

But I only have enough money for one return trip...and if sex work doesn't work out because sex hurts or wrong brothel then I'm homeless...I can't risk...

You make your own, but, its really not needed, just advertise on certain webpages
 
Ahoy I would suggest to you need to talk to a Madam, here we have a few that are very contactable, have a think and let us know.

My personal view, private work in Melbourne is very competitive and you will find it very difficult.

4. You are worried that sex might hurt

Do you have any idea, or has anybody mentioned the fact that your customers are going to be men who either can't, or don't want to find a "civvy" woman to have sex with? They could be drunk, or on drugs, or violent.
Do you understand, or has any working lady told you that you will probably cry yourself to sleep every night?
Do you realize that your self esteem will probably plummet to the point of being massively depressed?

I have sometimes chatted with working ladies and most are willing to admit that they hate the job and they are only in it for the potential quick money. The money is addictive and so, sometimes, are the drugs they take to make it all bearable.

Some working ladies feel they have to do this work and therefore feel trapped. More depression.

Don't get me wrong, there are also some working ladies who, after coming to terms with what they are, working privately and therefore able to choose their customers, actually enjoy their work. These are the ones who are no longer reliant on the earnings, but rather continue to work out of choice to be able to afford the luxuries of life. Travel, shoes, handbags, etc. They are at one end of the scale.

The other end of the scale is in the cemetery. Drug overdose, suicide, beaten and murdered, etc.

Forget the sex industry, take up writing, seriously.........
In every endeavour in life the time comes when you just make a decision and do it. To quote the green guru "do, or do not, there is no try" asking questions is normal but the decision is yours alone. The fact your asking so many questions seems to show your nowhere near ready for this job.

Victoria is probably the worst place with having to be registered.

bigest tip ive given new ladys is dont short change the guys on time.... while many leave early some guys do want the time they psid for so you do need a tactfull skill for winding things up
 
as for going without work as ive found out.
it doesnt matter how young or pretty or what you will do if you ask too much people just cant afford it.
I recently worked with a mid 20s size 8 blonde blue eyed stunner who included fetish and double penatration. .. $300 was a real stretch although if she hadnt left early she could have made $1200; pluss for the night instead of $600
and as happy pirate has said every lady ive worked with has had major personality issues much of it from drugs

ok... i am somewhat new to this industry and have been doing this for a little over a month...
advice as follows...

if you are wanting to do this start in a reputable establishment... case closed... do not try private first as you need to learn the ropes so to speak...
there is more to this job than just sex... SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY... yours his and everybody you come into contact with...
this is taxing mentally... if you are doing it for a quick payday... DONT... it will not happen like that..

and finally if you are a virgin.. this is not the way to lose it... dont enter a lifestyle choice that could change your life in so many different ways that you can not fathom with out knowing what you like/ hate and think about sex...

once you do this there is no " unfucking" so to speak...

i dont want to turn you off this industry, but i want you to really consider what you are thinking about..
this is not hollywood or a movie , its serious.... it can be fun and i do love it. i would not do anything i dont love... but you still have shit days, shit customers and just shit...

xo happypirate for your answers :) made me teary to finally have someone hear me...I guess once I have regulars it'll be like having friends with benefit...some where to be myself, no need to go to the dating websites and risk safety...on the other hand until I do get regulars it'd be a hard road...

Yes I was given one of the Madam's number before I knew how big Langtress is...

but my questions would be mainly how and which state/ brothel/ escort/ massage place to go to, to earn big quick without revealing any of my real details-legally...

and by some brothels response I got...it seem to cause the receiver irritation...

so I'd like to find out the average amount earned by most sex workers in a brothel/ escort/ massage place

and if there is a way to do this secretly before contacting the Madam...(or maybe I can contact Madam to ask for a cleaning/ reception/ non-sex massage work to begin with to see the industry and then slowly get into it...thinking out loud)

at the moment the majority of sex workers are saying, $0-few hundred on not so busy days (I can't afford to risk this :()...and 1000-2000 if busy

and it seems no one can name a place best to start work...in VIC The Boardroom (I emailed them, they were friendly but they wanted my ID so didn't visit) won first place so I figured there must be a number 1 in other states too but no one seems to know...

until I found on my own, Langtrees, thorugh news articles where The Madam was fighting for sex worker rights so is looking most trust-able place but not sure how busy they are and what personal info or anything else they'd ask of me
