I would always go carefully where backs are concerned, and back issues need serious attention to resolve.
There are some good recommendations for remedial massage others provided here.
My general guide is that most providing any 'extras' have next to no particular knowledge of the workings of backs, and would do more harm than good. Hence am most adverse when anyone thinks walking on my back is a good idea.

Agree with these comments. If your pain is serious go and get it diagnosed properly before allowing any remedial massage to be done.

Whilst I have not broached the subject with the lady I see, I’m very sure that she would appreciate a level of confidentiality around this.
Especially seeing as I have found her Facebook page and some Instagram posts. I’m sure that she and any other WL wouldn’t want information shared that might identify them via a private Facebook or Instagram account.

Update following my weekly visit to the older of the two.
I confessed that I found her on FB. She grabbed my phone as quickly as she could do get me to show her. It was almost funny watching her naked self dive off the massage table and rummage through my work pants I’d hung over the chair in the massage room to get my phone.
She was genuinely shocked that I had found her private FB profile. Her first photo is her and her daughter, she told me she had her at 16 (She is 39)
Once she settled down a bit we discussed and we agreed that “friends on FB” was probably not the way to go. As friends and family might wonder who each of us are - awkward questions.
I didn’t press for any information about her daughter (I’m really not interested in ever booking with her now I know who her mum is).
Sorry to all the Folk that have PM’d for details. This lady doesn’t advertise her services. She works at a more legitimate massage shop (I say “more”legitimate as if you’ve ever read the thread on legitimate massages on this forum 🤣😹).

I will be back next week to enjoy another 90min massage, chat and relax with this lady.

Massage can only help if its muscle pain..anything else go see a medical person..never let someone walk on your back, generally a bad idea
 
A bit less with opening of the borders. Going to give it a few weeks to see how much impact it will have. Before going back to it fully.

If you want legit, go for it. If you want extras, go to one of the shops on either side of this one - can't vouch for the quality of the service or the attractiveness ladies currently there, but you will get extras. Or you could just save your money and grab a couple of ales at the rugby and I will see you there until this thing has passed

Age is just a number. If she still looks good and is willing I would be happy to spend time with a 60 year old lady over a 20 year old that thinks she knows it all and "knows" that the world owes her 😂

You could go to a massage place, but in my experience - I am an old man - remedial massage is the way to go. Yes it costs more than an AMP but if it is a genuine remedial service then HICAPS will be available but extras won't

If you have back problem, then go see a chiropractor. They can fix minor skeletal misalignment.
If on occasions after you've injured your lower back, you feel like you've lost support from your leg and drops a foot when you walk, then its most likely one of your discs has shifted. See a chiro or it will move back into place on its own but may take a few weeks.
Physio deals with muscle issues.
