This just in.
It's good I guess but they should really set a separate time for that lot, again pensioner or disability who can't even walk fast are going to miss out even more. Who's to say there isn't any Hoarders in that frontline lot? And police & nurses already got first priority in everything else.
If I was a panic frontliner I could buy 2 TPs in one shop then head down to the next coles to buy another, then do that again the next day. Not really making these things any better.
Aluicus , with all due respect but did you actually read the article before you wrote this comment.. Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion , but since this situation first gathered momentum , people go off half cocked and cannot wait to get something on to social media because they have a story that they think no one else knows .Read the article before you go off half cocked. For your information , the elderly and disabled are not competing with the police /nurses,emergency services, etc for exclusive shopping. Read the article , disabled /elderly card holders still have 3 days for exclusive access to get there shopping done. It was not long ago they did not have this and after only one week of it , there are basically no problems with it and most things are readily available for them.
"Who's to say there isn't any Hoarders in that frontline lot?" ... My opinion only , but i would be very surprised if there are many "hoarders in that frontline lot" ...these are elderly respectful people who understand the situation and have been burnt already , so they know what it is like .
"And police & nurses already got first priority in everything else"..... and what things have police and nurses got first priority in everything else , please enlighten the forum what you are referring to. If you read the article you will see the reason why the decision was made by coles , and good on them. This is not just police and nurses,it is a little bit broader than just these two occupations.
"If I was a panic frontliner I could buy 2 TPs in one shop then head down to the next coles to buy another, then do that again the next day. Not really making these things any better.---- you have just answered the whole problem right there , it is not the old, disabled etc , or the police and nurses , it is the greedy inconsiderate pigs who are all about me me me , and coles have recognised this and I say , good on them for doing what they are doing.
