Oh well, it's come and gone (or will be in a few hours). Ms. Kennedy thank you for you kind gesture. Everyone else, thank you for your kind input. It was an attempt to avoid a lonely birthday and it didn't work. Going to work filled most of the day so that was good. Oh well, goodnight all and thanks for the good thoughts. I'll leave this on for a couple of days and then I'll quit the board.
Sorry that we missed it however HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂 🥳 on behalf of all of us on this Forum xx

Most of them are female managers. But if they do get to try them out I’m going onto seek now and look for any possible jobs 😊

Heard stories in the past that the partners/husbands of some of the female owners/mangers took advantage of the workers. Often than not many of these female owners/managers couldn't careless probably because they believe in an open relationship.

Have you tried Meetup. There are literally hundreds of groups for singles.

Hi, couldn't sleep so I came online. Thought I'd answer. Research has shown that many, many people make their lifetime friends by 20 and then stop. It's an exceptional person who goes beyond that and makes an effort these days. Secondly, particularly online, the world has become a far shallower place now and people moreso than ever judge on one thing - looks alone. It doesn't help that I'm dark complexioned. So... that's online.

I'm a member of several Meetup groups. It's great to a point - I see movies and have dinners with people and then we all go our separate ways. It's good because it beats staying at home and being alone and at least I've enjoyed a movie or a walk or a meal with some company. This too is also a judgemental affair; people don't admit to it but there's an assessment going on. You can sense it. People are polite enough though and it's better than nothing.

Lifestyles and people have changed. I remember in the 80s it was common to have a cuppa tea at a neighbour's kitchen table. Long since gone. I've sat in a lunch room full of nurses for example and they're all texting their boyfriends or someone else even if they're single. I'm not rejecting anyone's suggestions outright but it's a long arduous process. When I'm at a new workplace and we're filling in our HR forms, I always baulk when it comes to the line asking for contact details of someone in an emergency. Most times I've known of no one local until recently. I know a family here who've consented to be a local contact and who'll contact my family back in my country of origin.

I'm still very fortunate. At least I speak, read and write English and am earning decent money. I often wonder what it's like for migrants who can't speak English or for many Australians, white or otherwise who aren't attractive in the conventional since, single mothers "chained" to their homes while looking after kids or the disabled. I sympathize with quite a few single men who are FIFO workers. Some are lucky but more than a few struggle when they're on home leave as they're not here long enough to build up relationships.

I'm still doing the voluntary thing - I help the elderly in my neighbourhood by driving them to the supermarket and doing odd jobs around their house, opp shops but it's still a lonely existence. You don't really "meet" people as such.

Ta for all your comments and support. I'm very touched, really.

do WL give a freebie out and put it down as an aspect of working at an AMP and get on with the job or get up and leave the place? Just curious what the hiring process is.

I think a few ladies have ads mention cheaper rates for no-sex dinner dates, nude cleaning services, or watching a movie/"netflix"; but it's not something I've paid much attention to.

A quick search of the usual sites, suggests the lovely Janelle currently lists dinner dates at a cheaper rate ($200ph) and I'm sure I've seen others, though it's not close to $30.

But I reckon add the money you were going to spend on nice meals and drinks for the two of you on that date, to the $30, and spend that on a massage or something; won't be the same at all, but it still might be enjoyable and make you feel special, you don't have to have a happy ending and might save a bit if you aren't looking for that.

People have mentioned the non-sex industry stuff for loneliness solutions but I imagine that might miss part of the underlying idea, perhaps there is an element of wanting to feel like a younger man thrilled to be on a date with a pretty lady for a bit?

The actual day may have been and gone, but birthdays are just days, depending on what this idea meant to you it may not be too late to celebrate mid week. Finding someone for a Saturday night, the day before father's day I'm sorry to say was probably difficult / bad timing to get it to happen. Even as a kid I think most of us learned to be content with celebrating the week before or after.

I imagine ladies are possibly a little weary of making too much of a consession, it's not just that they want to be compensated for their time but they likely don't want an client getting the wrong idea and stalking them or pestering them with too many non-booking messages; not saying you'd be like that but I can imagine that there's good odds that if a lady took pity and saw a dozen new clients at such a low rate under similar circumstances at least a few would take the piss and turn into pests letting their loniness turn into a problem and expecting the lady to keep being 'kind', and there are likely 1000s of lonely men for every WL, far too many for them to possibly see if they made too many dramatic consessions on compassionate grounds.

Thanks all for the discussion. Going off-topic here.
If you know any WL accepts crypto, please post. If not, please start your own thread to debate about crypto.

Cheers!

I feel like this while addressed to everyone, was most directed at my post... which well fark off with that noise mate, you have to accept that not everyone is going to think like you do and you have even liked posts further off topic in this thread after mine...

Bitcoin has gone beyond use case for transactional use case. It's too slow. It's more a store of value and hedge against the dollar. What do you think with the government printer going brrrrrr going to do.

A lady choosing to be paid in bitcoin means she understands its worth and is a smart move.

You just simultaneously suggested using bitcoin for transactions is dumb and smart

Crypto is far from dead. Its use case expanded outside of as a form of payment. You need to understand the underlying technology of crypto being block chain to know how it will revolutionise many industries. Need to look outside mainstream news hype

That's blockchain technology, related but really far from the topic which was WL accepting payment via crytocurrency.

You guys want to be all like burn the herectic, he's so dumb he doesn't understand, when I feel you've missed my point trying to discuss what's behind Piyo's interest in WL accepting crypto as payment, attitudes of responses in this thread that are simultaneous accepting crypto smart but using it as payment as the payee is dumb, just hold it... I don't want to debate crypto with any of you, anymore than I want to debate scientology with a scientologist (I'm sure they'll be quick to dismiss any point I make as ignorance too).

My point again... WLs who accept crypto, I suspect don't actually expect to be paid in crypto, perhaps so much as to appeal to people interested in crypto who well won't be willing to part with it.

As for the wisdom of accepting crypto a somewhat the going rate equivalent to fiat, for the reasons of investment only, their's not that much stopping the lady just buying crypto herself with money if that's what she wants to do.

Anyway good luck with the thread, seems like only the OP is interested in actually detailing WLs accepting these payments, and I gather much of that is just keyword searching on relevant sites at this point?

You need to seriously chill out. You also contradict yourself. On the one hand you have a go at the OP for asking people to not go off topic, yet you then try restrict people from providing a different opinion on the subject matter. You say you don't want to debate, but then proceeded to counter argue and reassert your opinion. Hilarious.

Once a post or comment is made, people have a right to reply or not, within the rules. If people cannot handle it going a little off topic or someone responding to a comment with different opinion, don't start a topic or post a comment

You will find many go off track. Once it's released into the wild, it's free for anyone to post as they see fit

Peace out ✌️😊

Some managers/owners have select special clients they ask to be “crash test dummies” to gauge the “performance” of new options 👍 & report back 🤔 is a fun gig when asked to help out, & difficult to turn down😈
Mike, you were always good for solid feedback....mind you best not to be in earshot when you're in full flow LOL

Lol yeah happy birthday, forgot the most important thing …., to say 😀

Dear Moderator,

Thank you for letting me put up my quest for a favour. As the date has now passed, could you please cancel my membership? I wish everyone on this board well. You may wish to leave the post up as food for thought but I'll leave it to you.

Cheers (and dare I say it?) and have a good Christmas!

The most powerful weapon/s in the World isn't nuclear warheads, solar flares from the sun, covid or mother nature but the Vagina. It's probably started more wars than anything else.........just my thought of the day.

Ivy at Foxeys will give Guys she knows a bucket load of trash talk . I know this because when she was operating out of a private home I had coffee with Ivy an some of the stuff Ivy told her old customers to do was very naughty .

Probably depends how 'near' you want.
If you said, say within 10 kms:
Burswood is 10 kms from airport, other way, Midland is 10 kms from airport.
So perhaps lots available anywhere without having to travel too far.
