The sex worker might be an underager. I mean a child under the legal age to consent to sex when I say underager. Not all sex workers in thailand are underager's. But people do go to thailand to have sex with underager's. You might walk into the room and it's an underager chained to the bed. Yes they might try to scam you with an underager that look's old enough or hope you don't notice it's an underager.

Yeh I know what underager means, wasn’t sure if you meant that you walk in and might so happen just be an underaged girl or that if you go in and they’re like oh that girl was underaged so give us money or we call the cops or something like that.

I don't think a brothel would threaten to go to the cops as they would get done themselves then. But yeah an underager picked up off the street may try to extort you. Not speaking from my own experience.

Yeah it's probably not so common but not unheard of. I'm no expert on the matter nor am I talking from my own experience I saw it on t.v.

Ah ok fair enough, I have heard of those very extreme cases but thought ya meant you can walk down the street and find em easy. But it it’s scary knowing there’s sick people who will do that to others

Yeah I think the motive is they don't have to pay children. It's all about the $$$ I suspect. Again, I'm no expert nor am I speaking from my own experience. I've never even been out of Australia.
 
It seems like Bali wasn't quite what you expected, with a mix of good and frustrating experiences. The scams and constant nagging for tips definitely sound annoying, but it's useful to share so others can be more prepared. Hopefully, your next trip goes smoother!

Bali isn’t really a major sex hub and doesn’t have the kinda sex culture Thailand has, there’s definitely options but I really do suggest using tinder over there to get the private girls and paying for them as it’s way cheaper
 
I had a similar experience a couple of months ago.

Yes the begging and guilt tripping for money is seriously annoying, just have to stand your ground and not cave, always wrap your clothes and wallet up and never ever leave it unattended.
Always bargain as you did pay too much in my opinion,
Every shop will be different and some will always try charge you more and get prices sorted prior including the massage itself

No worries, if you haven’t tried I recommend hitting up Pattaya, very fun place and the options are far more , still think Bali has a lot more young hotties available at massage shops where Thailand you gotta hit up bars to find younger hot ones where the massage shops in my opinion have less attractive and are more late 20s 30+ but you can get some great services in massage shops

You could take a backpack and put your clothes, wallet etc in it. That's also more hygenic than the shops little basket for your clothes.
