Yep I am hearing worrying stories from people in Europe about what Ai/Automation is going to the job market within 5 years... Every Manager I speak to, every recruitment agent are saying this... if your job can be done from a cafe 5 days a week remotely, your job will be gone within 5 years.. The downturn we are witnessing is not going to reverse there is nothing to change the trajectory of it.. Trillion dollar AI firms will spend 700B USD on Ai including massive Data Centers this year that will increase to 1 Trillion in 2027... and every month on month its getting worse.. and Australia will not be immune either.. Actually I am hearing Australia is going to face this the worst as 80% of jobs there are service based, coupled with Perth region house prices going up $500 a day.... Politicans may have a major issue to deal with very soon.. and YES its coming nothing is going ro stop it... I was told Plumbers/Electricians are about the safest ones here that wont face it....

I can tell you one thing buddy, where I am right now.. more and more men are using products to remove body hair and are entering this game as TV escorts, as its not wallets that are shrinking but sadly its more and more male orientated jobs that are dying on a now global scale I sh*t you not, I am hearing horror stories of what the future is looking like for many 1000's of men and its not looking too good, that story maybe the start of what is going to be a one massive decline for one Gender, and that decline from I have been told is not going to reverse...
I can agree with you. My life is a grey area between a solitary existence doing what I love. And also the burden of prostituting myself to the corporate world. And wokeness has dictated that men no longer have an existence as stable as they used to.
I don’t mean in a way where men should dominate. More and more places now have it so men are pushed out. Perhaps not in the top tier positions that run this world. But in everyday jobs where the average joe is just trying to make a living.

Interesting discussion! My ten cents is that Ai can't replace the warmth, connection and sexy fun & games that take place in a brothel, though it is scary to see figures proving Ai has gone from being a useful tool to replacing human workforce. As for an economic downturn the amount punters can spend changes, a weekly visit might become a luxury treat. There could be an increase in sex workers as people consider sex work as a way to make money, which to me, is sad as sex work should always be an empowering choice, not a forced decision due to financial pressure.
