But the core issue of this thread is illustrated by the contributions of Antonov and Whilom.

It must be appreciated that sex with coupled with the emotional attachment of an affair, with all the lies and deception that accompany it, is the form of cheating that is reprehensible.

That is the arena that destroys lives and causes tsunamis of damage that touches many.

Anyway, each to his own.

Australia has one of the worst divorce rates in the world, so you can't blame that on any W/L.

What about when you have been in a relationship for years and your still best of friends but the sexuall side of it doesn't exsist, due to change of life, different hormoanal drugs like (dephravera) (don't know how to spell it) so isn't it better for a guy to see a W/L than to start an affair with someone else, which may lead to the complete break up of 2 people who still have alot of feelings towards each other.

I can say that from experience, and she even told me to see a W/L but please don't fall in love with someone else, after awhile i did but still didn't tell her, why because i knew it would hurt her feelings, and we were always best of friends and lived together to the very end.

You have no idea what happened in my situation and all of your assumptions are incorrect as a matter of fact.

My relationship failed because I had more faith than I should have in a guy that turned out to be the typical every day "f*ck anything that moves" type of guy who cheated for no good reason and tried to use alcohol as an excuse...

You only get 1 chance with me when it comes to cheating though, it's your first chance & your last chance all rolled into one.

....I was not asking for it to be censored at all....I asked because nothing new is comming out of this thread. What's been said HAS been said over and over again. Whether I agree or don't agree with DP or others is immaterial....this thread was just going around in circles, hence my post.

Unsolicited texts, emails or calls to a client are a no-no. End of story. For safety's sake most of us demand a phone number from the client when they book with us.

The least we can do is to respect that, and not use if for our own purposes, which texting to it with our new work address is. It's a two way street, in my opinion.
