Apparently they make a hell of a lot of money doing the rural areas....i was in a tavern up here (north west) and got chatting to one of the bar girls (not a skimpy) and she said those girls earn four or five times an hour what she earns, plus tips. She said she makes them work for their money though and they do just as much, if not more, bar work than her!
I was asking her why she does bar work up here, particularly at this very rough bar if its not for the money and she said she likes girls and working in a skimpy bar is a great way to meet the kind of girls she is after. Unfortunately for me she likes the very butch ladies!

I can think of at least 3 other blondes who have worked there.
There was DJ, Skye, Paris, and Im blonde also (not that Ive worked there recently)
 
skimpy bar work up north isnt worth the time in my opinion, unless your a really good hustler..the pay is only about $22-25 per hour which is only a couple more bucks more than the normal bar staff, and the company i worked for (who will remain unnamed lol) would send me away for 3 nights, only getting 3 or 4 hrs per night..and some places the guys tip next to nothing, especailly cause many places now have strict rules about skimpy bar games (eg $2 flips for boobs, "money box" etc), so u go away for half the week and only make a few hundred bucks..not worth the abuse from drunken men in my opinion!
 
We put all our prices up at the start of the year (all increase passed onto the girls) and have strict minimum hours - the pubs get charged the number of hours set if they do them or not. We have minimum 5 hrs per day for skimpy bar work. If you were only do a 2 or 3 day week we pay $30 - $35hr. Minimum is $25hr but you would be doing 40 hrs for the week.

Agreed some places are not very good for tips, but then alot of girls dont want to have to flash their boobs and prefer these type of venues so we have to try and cater for all.

if your talking about taboo burswood, that was Athena.
She left last year to go do tabletop dancing in Melbourne.
She made the most out of all the girls..pretty average strip if you ask me though

Im glad that you charge for total hours, I once went all the way to a gig, then after 2 hours (it was a minimum 4 hour shift) there had only been 4 custies in, the bar manager said I should leave, cos they wouldnt be able to afford to pay me, since business was so slow.
I rang the agency, and they were pretty good, finding me a replacement shift down the road, so I went there instead.
And did well out of tips :-)
I was lucky it worked out for me!

i highly doubt that, she is one of my personal friends...and taboo burswood is a non contact establishment and it is strictly enforced

yes she does quite well for herself but as always the beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
 
Hey Chibi, how are things at Risque?

Was pretty quiet last time I went in, was wondering if its a bit better, cos Im hating these 11 hour night shifts :-) and would love some day work.
 
If it was quiet last time, then it probably still is- I don't feel that the shop has changed too much. At the moment we are having to run the odd two girl show in order to give our girls hours, and three of them have to miss out each week or so, so they all get a chance. So at the moment, can't really say there's too much work available. Sorry :o

I remember quite a few years ago before the renovation Risque used to run "public" strips and pack about 15 - 20 or more guys in to watch a series of strippers perform over about 20 minutes or so for $20.

It was good value for the punters and, possibly led to an increase in private showings for the girls. It may be worth resurrecting the idea?
 
Actually that has been resurrected a couple of times since then, but we've always had a steady decline in punters so at the moment the idea has been put on hiatus. Admittedly with the party-plans and other stuff, we don't really have room for it at the moment- though I think being able to catch something like this in the daytime could still be worthwhile

i was one of her regulars, is she ever coming back 2 perth? where in melbourne does she work? cause when i am over there shortly i should look out for her

Club x used to do a similar thing in their cinema, have a lunchtime strip show. Over the years the industry has gotten quieter in general. I know that I make about 80% of my 2001 earnings, on average(and that was when I was just starting out and was too shy to actually take my clothes off on stage!)

Was wondering people's opininos on which club is the best in Melbourne as am heading there on business shortly

I have been doing footy trips to Melbourne for the last 5 or 6 years and have been to a couple of the clubs down King St. Our favourite is Bar 20. The drinks are cheaper there and the entertainment I think is the best. The club itself is looking a bit tired but still a good atmosphere. Just be wary that there will be a bigger chance of violence in that area.(King St) But if you are off the streets by 3 am you should be ok.

Was in Melbourne last year on business and visited Goldfingers and Bar20 and Kittens. I agree buckland - Bar 20 seem by far the best, Kittens i didn't rate and i arrived at Goldfingers only 45minutes before closing so was pretty lowsy.

Touch wood - Didn't leave kind street till 6:30 am and didn't see any trouble, not that i would be making a habit of that.

Once again thanks for the feedback - will definately give the Spearmint Rhino a crack
 
As usual any club or pub are only as good as there staff. But to me there seems to be a happier environment at Bar20. Have been into the Spearmint Rhino a couple of times and didn't find the girls in there as friendly. Mind you we have almost become regulars at Bar20 everytime we get to that great city Melbourne.
 
I just finished up working in Melbourne. IMO I would recommend Centrefold lounge (I fell in lust with a hot dancers there, Jessica) Its very laid back, with some GORGEOUS girls there (a few skinny minnies, but HEAPS of soft women, and 2 or 4 competitive bodybuilders) Its also exempt from lockout.

If you like to be able to touch the girls, Kittens at South Melbourne allows touching. Its the only place that does AFAIK,
Its VERY femals friendly (ask for Lolly, shes an absolute doll!)

Goldfingers has too many dancers, so you get a bar full of bored girls standing around, plus its REALLY high hustle.

I wouldnt reccomend Dreams (old Hosies on Elizabeth st, its gone all posh and is $20 to get in, plus they scan your id) or Kittens at Caulfield.

I didnt visit Dallas, but it was NEVER busy when I went past.

Bar 20 had a HUGE amount of violence while I was there, so I was too scared to get on the roster.

Dont forget the 2am lockout now!

Im back in Perth for the time being, but Im not sure if Ill be dancing here.
Looking into skimpy contracts up north, to escape this cold weather!
