Now I know that some people see it as flattery, but as admin/bar staff here in Canberra I tend to be somewhat offended by the attitudes some men have towards the staff.

Some have even had the nerve to turn around and tell me no I don't want them(working girls), they're sloppy, what about you? And when met with a polite refusal they become whiny, pleading. It sickens me.

What makes you think that I'll want to risk my job after the way you've just insulted the girls I work with? It's that exact attitude that prevents you from having a great night. Instead of automatically writing them off, sit with them, talk. You'd be surprised how quickly you fall in love with the girls.​
 
Ahoy;- Here a typical case of guys with crappy attitudes, "do not judge as all from the actions of a few."
Some guys are used to getting everything their way, some have money, some have great looks, some have power and few have all these traits. The majority of us enjoy the attention of a lovely lady and appreciate it, I have found the older I get the more appreciative i have become.
Now where did I put my Rum Glass?

Like I said it's just some men. While I understand the whole "forbidden fruit" aspect, that's no reason to be disrespectful towards the Ladies. If you're coming in to see a Working Lady then you are aware that they see other clients, and the Ladies that were on those nights were incredible. I remain professional as much as I want to give them a verbal lashing >.<​
 
I believe Canberra is known by many people with their noses stuck up in the air believing they are better than anybody else. True parliament house in Canberra does not help.
Also many believe Canberra is full of rich public servants alas not true.

I am happy to have left Canberra and now enjoying living in the NSW.

I treat every lady as special because they are, There is only one you. :)
 
The ACT also has a proportionally large transient population, so it's quite possible that the riff-raff was from interstate. And Parliament is full of them (from interstate, I mean, not riff-raff). I'd hate to be a public servant too, misunderstood and loathed by the rest of the country and not a lot to show for it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, some of my best friends are public servants, etc. I actually find them more personable and unassuming than the bankers, lawyers and corporate types I knew in Sydney. :cigar:

Anyway, I'd be showing those uncouth louts the door. So-and-so's give the rest of us blokes a bad name. :mad:
 
I guess it is not where the man comes from but where he is going to.
Going to be polite, respect the lady and enjoy the experience or spoil the whole experience for him and the lady.

Canberra the land where you live in a freezer :)
Although around midday after a frost it is not too bad.
