The majority of lives lost will be in developing nations.
Governments have no idea how to stop a Pandemic, a mysterious illness without a cure.
We have heard so many fake experimental cures that will not work.
The pandemic will be over by the time a cure/vaccine is available.
Limited health care will make health care out of reach for the 5 billion people that live in developing countries.

tonic water can only contain up to 83 mg of quinine per one liter of fluid.
This means if you were trying to treat yourself for malaria with off-the-shelf tonic water, you would need to drink 56.7 liters a day.
To hit that mark, you’d have to drink a two-litre bottle and change every hour of the day.
that much liquid would probably kill you.

I believe the topical treatment for head lice also kills the Covid-19 virus in petri dishes and so, probably does diesel fuel but these substances are also highly toxic if ingested so while they may make a better disinfectant for surfaces there is a lot of research to go to adapt them into a cure.

Remember H.I.V?? How long did it take to come up with effective treatments for that? Fortunately H.I.V led to a lot of research into viruses and that knowledge will speed up the search for a cure and vaccine for Covid-19 but don't hold your breath (Just keep it to yourself for now...);)

First wave at the moment is only the beginning of a deadly global Pandemic.
1918/1919: a mysterious killer virus, origins unknown, third of the world infected, millions were killed.
A second wave will be the killer if it is similar to 1918/1919 Pandemic.
Vaccines takes years to develop, test and trial before they are mass produced.
We do not have years to wait, there is no time.
Slowing down the rate of infection does not eliminate the threat.
There will be a calm before the storm.

Some would say this is just the natural course of evolution at work.

Darwin recognized it. Nature intends that the susceptible are eliminated by the process of natural selection, that is natures' equivalent of a vaccine.

However, mankind (or personkind to be PC) is sufficiently arrogant to believe that he/she is better than nature and can dominate the planet because we are able to think unlike anything else.

Some would say this is nature/fate telling us we've stuffed up, the equivalent of a dinosaur's meteorite shower perhaps.

Just fly a few able volunteers to your location and we can start trial testing, of course it'll have to be done in a enclosed space over a period of 1 month for the best test results.

Say 6 times a days, 7 days a week in a 31 day month period, should suffice. As long as all 4 subject bodies are still able at the end of the controlled experiment, else the test fails. Males twice a day vs female 6 times a day of constant sex will determine how much constant sex is needed to stop the infection.

Remember your body contribution to this viable cure has the fate of the world resting on it, if this works the world will thank you. Tizzy...

report from UK friend about his mates dad - He was alone when he died (apart from staff obvs) and had no family with him. Then his mum had to self isolate for 14 days, in a house on her own in mourning without even a hug of condolence. Just my mate sat in her garden speaking on the phone through the window each day.
another mates auntie has got it in a old folks home, they are not sending a doctor or ambulance, just the staff administering medicine and family told she will die very soon. no-one is allowed to visit her.

so to all those smart bastards who still think this is a joke, think again.
our active cases per 1,000,000 is one of the worst outside of Europe and USA
hopefully our relatively small population and vast areas can arrest the spread.
