Well No they have not after the 2018 Eagles Premiership the club was stuck with a lot of old or mature players who were on very expensive long term contracts these guys were happy as a pig in shit rich employed and achieved there ambition a Grand Final and happy to play out there contract .They've been playing the rebuild tune for almost 5 years now.

Delayed any rebuild by 3 or 4 years . then consider a rebuild from scratch could be years 18 clubs maybe 18 years to the next GF ?

Sydney turned up knowing they had the week off and didn't have to try hard to get the win..Better goal kicking by Eagles.
R2 WCE 18 shots(5.13) to Giants 28 shots (16.12)- 10 less shots = margin 65 pts at home
R3 Bulldogs 26 shots (16.10) to WCE 15 shots (3.12) - 11 less shots = margin 76 pts at Marvel, Melb
R4 WCE 23 shots (11.12) to Sydney 29 shots (15.14) - 6 less shots = margin 26pts in Adelaide
Yah margin was under 50 points
I've been an eagles supporter since i was a small child, the last few years my father and i have been shattered with the losses unfortunately but i think its cool to see that die hard fans will support the team regardless of their favourite teams losses and i think it says and does a lot !!!!!

Aging players and Lathlain Park.yes i think there is something there.
Cant recall a side that has sooo many injuries to key players over such a long period.
Mind you if i was in charge I would of replaced a lot of the aging players before last year and blood the youngsters
