I have 8, of which 5 are in regular use. One for family and friends, one for work, one for online shopping, one for social media and one which is kind of miscellaneous. Then it's easier to find particular messages.

We could expand the topic, and ask how many phone numbers people have....
I have 3, with a similar approach. One for family and friends, one for work, one miscellaneous.
 
1 apple id, 1 for random sign ups (hotmail), 1 gmail for storage, 1 work, 1 facebook. Don't mix them up and your life will be happier

This whole TS is full of these , and this is a classic.
IMO I have any number of email addresses , but I've only set up 13 of them so far 🤷🤷🤪🤪🤣🤣
 
I have four actively used ones:

  1. Personal Gmail - Everyday use
  2. Personal Hotmail - don't use it for emails, but historical as I use it for logging into Windows/MS accounts
  3. Work - No need to elaborate
  4. Throwaway - For signing up to services/sites you don't want tied back to you (eg. porn site where email accounts get leaked eventually in a hack)
I have some other throwaways which I probably can't remember.
