What are the tell tale signs? my two are

You MUST get up during the middle of the night for a pee

And MSOG is nowt but a pipedream now
 
Ahoy;- loss of strength, flexibility,physical fitness, graying hair and skin elasticity. However, people age at different rates and there can be significant differences between individuals of the same age.

Signs of middle age on a Pirate;- drinks toooo much Rum and cannot stop chasing women, treasure and adventure.
 
When you have hair longer than the one on your head, growing outta your ears.

When you can see white hair in your nostrils.

When you sound like your parents.

When you say bleh to things that are suppose to excite you 20 years ago.

When you get into your car and ready to go then realize you forgot your pants.

When you can't control your bowel and let one out accidentally in front of everyone.

When you called out the name of a lovely one that is not your spouse's.

When you can't stay up past 10:30pm. 11:00pm is considered midnight.

When and if you do stay up to 11:00pm, you sleep through the whole day.

When you can see things from far so much better but require reading glasses.
 
Pardon me *cough cough*. I didn't know we're talkin about glory, wheres that darn glasses of mine.

ok here goes,

When you mortgage your house to buy a Ferrari.

When you want to feel as young as the woman your feeling.

When you think your the best and a sex god to the female species.

When you have to pop a blue pill everyday to prove the above point.

When you think 40 is just a number and you reckon you can do what you did 20 years ago. Stay up late, party all night and bring a chick home and go at it all night but ended up in emergency.
 
Lol..... I'm not near 40. But all of the above minus the blue pill and ER is on a wishlist :)
 
Well if you put it like that. I hate having to think about it and get worried before doing a back flip lol.
 
Like they say Yoda, be a doer not a thinker. A doer would do it and think about the consequences after. A thinker thinks about the consequences 1st and stay inert.

When you're young, you cant afford sex.

You are middle aged when you make enough to afford a punt every month or so, at least, before the divorce !

You know you're old when you have enough money to punt every week, but can only get it up once a month - if that !

Hangovers become a part of a big night out.
Your hot, sexy, intelligent, witty and have dealt with your childhood issues and know what you want out of life and appreciate it when you get it.
