Well, we've had fun at Langtrees this morning.

The power company is doing some work in the street and we have been pulled off the main grid. Being a planned outage we were prepared and Mary-Anne had the foresight to order in a generator.

But we don't have power for the whole building so some of the rooms are running on torches and candlelight! Very nice mood at the moment, all dim and quiet.

I had fun running back and forth running replacement power for our computers and phone system to make sure it was all still running. Managed to just get our systems running on the generator when they killed the power on us.

Now it's fun and games in the dark until the power comesa back on ... sometime this afternoon.

To convert Thai Baht to Oz dollars, knock off the last two digits and multiply by three. It's a rough guide but pretty close.

So, 5000 baht for 3 hours = 50 x 3 = approximately $150 Australian dollars.

9000 THB overnight booking = 90 x 3 = $270 Australian dollars.

By my understanding, these are very high rates for Thailand, but the girls do look very lovely.

And ... we're back on mains! Yay, no major disruptions.

No more generator sounding like a truck on fast idle next to the building and all our lights back on. No ore fumbling around with torches.
 
Sorry guys I might burst a bubble here but I think the whole "first time thing" is a bit over rated. My first time was so not sexy......two inexperienced youngsters, nervous, sweaty, rushed, clumsy and no idea how to do it properly.......oh dear. :icon_scra

Looks like I missed the whole action this morning. Must have gotten out just in time. But in saying that we had a power cut a few weeks ago in the middle of a night.
