After the ex moved out, I have been alone for the last five or six years (actually I was probably alone for much longer - while she was still in the same house - but never realised it !), and am really enjoying it.

I answer to no one, I spend what i like, wear what I like, go where I like, when I like, etc. ... you get the idea.

However, every so often I like to feel close to someone, a real human being, and then i get to perth and see a WL.

The best part is I don't have to go through all that 'relationship' stuff, trying to guess what is the right thing to say, remembering anniversaries, etc., I can just call, and arrange an hour of pleasant company, then walk away.
Although recently, private WLs seem to be very unreliable, cancelling at the last minute, or not sending me that last text with the address, and ladies at establishments often don't do a full GFE - don't do DGK or DATY or ...

Still looking for the perfect regular, someone 'nice and sweet', pretty, fun to be with, not too expensive, etc., to visit regularly, but the search is a fun journey in itself !

That is a good point and it did occur to me when advocating a higher age. My solution would be to allow 18-20yo recruits to have a drink when on furlough, perhaps even give them a rum ration. :p

That might help boost the ADF's recruitment rate too (though we probably don't want our defence relying on people whose primary motivation to join up is getting pissed younger than they otherwise would). :dead:

Well, please stop thinking about it. When you start down that narrow dark road, especially when you're alone, it can be very hard to find your way back without help. Please do not hesitate to seek it if the weight feels like becoming unbearable.

I enjoy my own company.Being constantly surrounded by people can be draining. I love spending one on one time with lover , nothing better to be in the arms of someone you love. I enjoy time with my family and friends.
I guess its getting the balance right . If you have too much time alone you crave the company of others and
vice versa.
 
You know sometime sad about in Australia because in my country all family stay near and always help each other's all things (no Centrelink) support each other. Mum Dad brother sister cousins uncles ants all. Sometime cannot be alone there even when want but I think this better way .than many people just stay alone likes we do here

As a woman i have never had an issue with the toilet seat being up
I mean how F!@#king hard is it to put it down before you sit

Being a mother of 4 i would really enjoy some alone time
but i would never like to BE alone

There are many times I am alone but far from lonely
Some of the loneliest people live in the city for instance Surrounded by people

I dont think so im not perfect but seriously I dont feel I deserve to be treated like that. but from my experience women really love running guys down. I guess the idea is to try and make us feel were privileged to be in thier company. ..
hence why I enjoy being alone so much
 
No matter how high the limit is lifted, there will always be underage binge drinkers...parents definitely play a role in educating their offsprings about alcoholism, Al can be a friend or a foe.
