I know a lot of people constantly joke about how cold Canberra is but they are not wrong.
It seems that Flu season starts early and finishes late here
But I figured I'd share some of the things i find helpful when sick
1. Stock up on tissues
2. Use lipbalm (blistex preferably) on your nose to stop it from drying out and flaking
3. Honey and lemon in your tea
4. A teaspoon of honey on it's own before bed (it's got amazing anti-bacterial properties)
5. Hydrate, seriously no matter what hydration is important
6.GARLIC EVERYTHING
7. If you're struggling with eating meals, vegemite toast and a glass of flat or watered down lemonade seems to work
8. Up your Vitamin C intake (orange juice is pretty delish)
9. Rug up and keep warm
10. If you have a heater place a bowl of water infused with some eucalyptus oil near the heater
