Don't even go there...........I feel the same.....BUT sometimes I would like to know how young people perceive us...........weird and wonderful????????

Well I was told, I look like I was in my 20's 10 years ago. I think they were lying. I guess I look like a 30 yr old with a hunchback, a heart condition and a head full of white.

Canberra has gained two very different but very interesting personalities! These new receptionists as well as the ladies working will add to the allure of Langtrees Canberra :D

Sooooooo happy to discover that Jacqui arrived here in Canberra on the same day I did. And Harry, I can vouch from personal experience (yes, there goes another $5 into the Therapy Jar...) that any mass consignment of grundies for Jacqui did not arrive...

Hi all:)
I thought I'd start a little blog-style thread about my Canberra experiences...
Firstly, the more observant among you will have noticed the Name-Change. RIP Kathy.
I thought with the change of location it would be a good time to change my name to something that feels like a better fit, and is a bit more evocative of who I am.

Now, the first thing I noticed about Canberra is that it is Cold. Not "ooh, it's a bit nippy out, best grab a jacket" kind of cold. It's "Oh My Actual God I've got frost-bite in places that I didn't even know I had places" kind of Capital C kind of Cold. It's the kind of Cold that even people who have lived here for many years still have conversations about how cold it is. I'm thinking any shop that sells tourist-style t-shirts that say "Welcome to Canberra: It's Really F*cking COLD" will not only make a fortune, it will mean that we can bypass that conversational gem and all move on to bigger and brighter things.

So, on to bigger and brighter things. The second thing I noticed in Canberra was Langtrees. It is BEAUTIFUL here. The decor is gorgeous - I feel like I'm walking around on the set of some old Hollywood movie. Think glamour. Think Luxe. (no not the soap flakes, you idiot! There's no 'e' in that kind of luxe.) Think rich decadence and warm opulence. It is a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere, and generally a good solid 20 degrees warmer than the Outside World. (did I mention that Canberra is cold?? It is. Reeeeaaaallly freaking cold.) I know that there have been lots of posts saying things like "Wow! Mary-Anne, you've really out-done yourself! This place is beautiful!" but that only paints a teensy part of the picture. There are some aspects of the fit-out that are in the process of nearing completion, and as these open up, the space will be greatly enhanced...But, the lounge, the bar, the rooms, the VIP section are just a visual feast and a pleasure. The carpet is warm and springy underfoot, The bar is fully stocked and inviting, with sleek, glossy surfaces. The lounge has beautiful artworks, surfaces that just beg to be touched and beautiful, comfortable chairs to sink into that purely evoke warmth, conviviality and intimacy.

Time for a tea break and a quick sink into one of those comfy, comfy chairs... Come on by and we'll curl up together :)
Kisses,
Dita x x x

Thanks for the warm words of welcome Ms Sue, it's been a pleasure working with you and I'm looking forward to working with Madam Jacqui again.

TraceyFace I don't think Canberra has seen the likes of Madam Jacqui before, they're in for a treat ^.^

Some of you may already remember me from Langtrees of Perth as the Daytime Receptionist and occasionally the Night-time Receptionist.

But now get ready because the Reception Desk for Langtrees of Canberra will be gearing up to get posting and keeping you all up to date with Who's On Tonight, posts Introducing Ladies and whatever else may follow.

Generally approachable, friendly and helpful, if you're not sure which lady you'd like or if there are particular services that you are after I'm happy to help point you in the right direction.

Come down and see some of the Lovely Ladies and enjoy a night you will never forget :)
