Flights from China and South Korea were banned several weeks ago, so any Asian ladies located here currently would most certainly be free of any COVID19 infection. Spreading here-say and false information truly serves no purpose.
 
The misinformation and hysteria is getting a little tiresome. Just because people are a particular ethnicity does not automatically mean they have the virus, nor does it mean they have visited China recently. You're aware white folk frequent China too yes? ..... Goodness me 🙄

whilst I dont necessarily agree with both points of view on this matter , the system as you have stated is as about as watertight as a leaking bucket , so many different scenarios could occur which can make it fail , and this is not only directed at the asian people. It is based on peoples honesty and integrity, will leave it at that.
 
And I understand other countries have undertaken widespread information adverts and the like running for weeks and weeks and weeks explaining and updating their citizens with appropriate information and understanding.

Meanwhile, Australia is getting closer to putting together some stuff ... nothing so far, and it is very, very frustrating the lack of speed on this issue.

With respect Plumage .. your intent is good and right , but is based on the assumption that these travellers came semi-direct from Korea/China AND answered all immigration questions completely honestly etc etc .. which IMO is highly unlikely , because if they were answering ALL the questions truthfully they would very likely be turned back when they told Border Controls that they are coming here to join the sex industry for 3 months , not "study" . My point being that if they are happy to answer some questions 'vaugely' then there's a good chance they are happy to answer all questions vaugely, IMO.
Misinformation is harmful, agree 1000% , but caution is better than confinement for those of us who might contract this Covid19 from some supposed 'student' .
Also a high temperature is not necessarily even seen on a carrier , and the 14 days is not a guarantee of safety.

which log are you hiding under channelle , you are getting regular updates everyday from the prime minister down to state political leaders and health ministers and the list goes on. In my opinion , we are doing a bloody good job and compared to other countries are doing well.

And with also the utmost of respect - sex work and study are not mutually exclusive activities. If you personally favour caution, I respect that entirely - I haven't changed the insane amount of hand sanitiser that I use (which is truly a part of my budget lol) - and if you take caution to the utmost extreme then I respect your decision to not visit ANY sort of sex provider at all. Caution is truly a very important thing, but to target purely AMPs to me is just far too targeted - a lot of the wonderful Asian women who work in this industry have been in Australia for longer than 18 year olds who were born here. Exercising caution is entirely your own prerogative, and right! But unfairly targeting Asian women in the industry for the fact they may be "lying", without mentioning any touring Italians, or in fact any other group from affected areas, does unfortunately just come off as racist (even though I'm sure that's not what you meant it to come off as!).

AMPs was not mentioned in the 1st post in this thread. The association has been added in .. and could be considered misinformation .. haha. But there was no suggestion previously that it was only AMPs. The original post is about Covid19 I think .. and Locanto ads

Did I suggest mutual exclusivity ? No, just the degree to which ALL questions would be answered .. not lying, just not fully honest.

And the 18years of living in Oz is unrelated to the original post as well.

In some cases the incubation period could be as long as 3 months according to reports from China.

Well talking about that Jacqui you guys are having it good up there with 1 confirmed case in NT. NSW has 65ish cases. I just hope they can contain this before it gets any worse in Aus.

That has since been put down to double-exposure to the virus.

Thanks to all the members for there comments about the virus , a lot to get my head around, staying heathy is the way to go, not doing anything silly while having fun in the parlours is also important, maybe seeing the same ladies that I have seen before instead of a new lady every week might be a safer option. But above all, members should not panic or create panic amongst other people, what ever happens will happen, let the virus run it's course, it will take time to develop a cure if they ever do, because there is no cure for the common cold yet. This virus is a new strain of the flu & like any new one it will unfortunately kill a lot of people, hopefully there will be a drug discovered soon to help every person around the World who needs it.
 
i don't think there is a cure for any virus, they can make vaccine that actually infects you with a form of the targeted virus to immunise against it.
i just hope the scientist work together instead of making it a dick-measuring contest.
watched an interesting doco on the polio vaccine, and thankfully we have come a long way from injecting mashed-up brains of infected monkeys.
but the race to perfect the polio vaccine became a battle between scientists that wanted to be first.
lets hope the scientists and countries put away their egos and pride, and work together. (but i'm not holding my breath)
