Exactly right Kodie. I have one friend who considers herself kinky because she loves to be flogged and caned and has never used her safe word. I have other friends who think that leaving the light on is kinky. Each to their own I suppose.

It does remind me of the difference between kinky and demented. Kinky uses a feather, demented uses the whole chook.
 
'are you kinky?' is like saying 'how tall are you?', everyone's answer is going to be different and correct!
I have friends who are just getting into kink and consider spanking and choking super kinky, which is valid ^.^ on the other side of the spectrum, I have been in the community in Perth since 2014 (legally anyways) and the face of kink events and social groups. Full time pet, owned and collared submissive, had deep tissue bruising for 17 days and moooore. The answer to 'are you kinky?' is probably a yes for most of us 😏 😍
