Would we use a app on our phones for the forum?

I had a quick look today and xenforo has an app on the i store.
1/ Can any forum use this app?
2/ How much would it cost?
3/ Would members use it?

Members start researching post info on here and I will look at it with the upgrade.

I see an app in the app store its free and it says ForumApps which is by Xenforo but no individual app is there for Talkinsex...... if you could let me know the name of the app which you have seen ? I can give it a try though

We probably couldn't use the app store one but can you download it so we can see what it does for another xenforo forum...we would have to build one which will make Mr Suomo Happy

I just check in to the app nothing much to do in it no options are shown as well about talkinsex

Apple store will not allow it due to Adult content. Private apps that are built and deployed will require a jailbroken IPhone which about 0.01% of members would have. And before you ask, a Jailbroken iPhone is and iPhone that has been “cracked open” to get around Apples security and strict features

They wouldn't we have never had one and the sex industry is not allowed to use apps from the app shop, and if we make one we have to distrubute ourselves, but we can download it and see how it works in another xenforo forum.

If we try to get the app according to Android features I guess with the help of Google features we can promote in into Google play store

No you cannot, a app can only be downloading from our sites. Google does not allow the sex industry to advertise.

Andorid is open technology so you CAN install a Sex APP on an Andorid Device

The google store no - but the difference between Apple and Android Phones Mary-anne is Apple locks everything down and they control what you can and cant do/install on your phone to an extent. Android on the other hand (which is owned by google) - Is a lot more Open and gives you more control to install what you want..... Greater risks as you could be installing a Virus or Malware by mistake - but again more flexibility.

There is no official Xenforo app, nor are there any plans to develop one. I’ve just been reading. The forum is made well to display on Mobile.

Was thinking that today ... as I am on my phone using the forum through safari - it be easier if it was an app like Facebook, Twitter or Insta.

If there was an app, I’d definitely use it. That said, the mobile web version is very easy to use on Safari at least. No complaints here.

It’s a piece of cake compared to using the Adult Forum (NZ) via Chrome on a Samsung device, that’s for sure!

This site works quite well without an app. I've been using it on my mobile and iPad without any issues.

I wouldn't bother MAK...the website works well enough. Do we really need to access another app on our phones?!

Tapatalk might be an option? They provide the mobile app "shell" for forums.

Love to have an app with pop up notifications to watched threads.
