Back in Darwin for a month training.

Running around in full kit, over 25kg.
In this humidity and mud!!
Not much fun.

Will definitely stop complaining about QLD weather.

But nice to be back with some mates.
Hope everyone is Happy and Well.
Fishing trip is on the cards!!!

This time of the year it has always been a bit tuff re the weather but as us old timers know if there is a big storm coming or it just gets too much head to the pub preferably one with aircon and its own generator so if you get stuck you can have a cold beer and an uncle merv and even if you don't get stuck ---- happy punting
 
I love the weather here in Darwin. Though I am not running around fully clothed with a pack on my back. I empathise with you.

At least you didn't mention raining, so I presume it wasn't raining that day?

Yes I enjoy the climate and unique people who reside up here.
I think I am getting too old to be out doing PT at 5am,
Thankfully less than 3 weeks to go, lol.

It is a beautiful place and the people are pretty cruisey too :)
PT at 5am?,,,I thought PT started at 7.30? They are giving you a hammering you poor bugger.

The rain and the breeze is awesome today :)

P.S. I love fresh fish.....Just in case you have any to spare lol
 
On Saturday night we attended the Mud Racing at the Hidden Valley racing complex.
It was totally awesome.
Hours of entertainment for a $15 entry fee for adults and $10 for children over 9 and concession card holders.
Kids stand at points on the fence for full mud coverage (there is a shower there but I'd suggest bringing them a change of clothes). And there is a lolly run.
The commentators kept the crowd engaged and were very amusing.
Awesome night out for the whole family.
Highly recommended.
Obviously this is A Wet Season sport.

Effie is good to go. Nice company. You could try Sophie is probably my 2nd choice. It usually 100 but I only pay 90 for half hour. Seeing I visit every pay week lol.
