Working Ladies calling clients

I am just wondering about your opinion of Working ladies calling their clients.
I thought it was an unwritten law/rule that Working Ladies are not to call or contact their clients, unless the client has either agreed that it is OK, or has actually requested such contact.

Now, I have, in the past, had contact from a certain mamasan at very inopportune moments and this has caused a certain degree of embarrassment and suspicion.

I recently explicitly told one Working Lady not to contact me, but guess what? I get a text message with a daily special offer. The offer was good, but that is not the point. The text message could have easily been read by SWMBO.

So what do you all think about this subject?

I agree with your sentiment. I had issues with this in the past and had to take steps to block the number. I make a point if never visiting their establishment again.

There are a few repeat offenders out there who do this. My view is its definately not ok without prior consent. These days theres so many safer options.. make a twitter/snapchat/instageam account and give it to your regulars and keep in touch that way.

You know you can hide messages on lockscreen right? And change the name of whoever and block them till the need to use their services. It's not rocket science here.

I'm a dinosaur with the phones, so are you saying you can hide messages from individual numbers on lockscreen.
I assumed it was a blanket hiding of all messages or notifications, thereby putting me in trouble of not seeing the messages I probably should act on.

I'm pretty sure just a blanket. I don't like other people seeing my messages in general anyway. Use a seperate phone for play and you'll never have an issue.

Sorry, I think you have missed my point. Rocket science or not, if you have asked a working lady not to call and she has understood your request and then calls, there is a problem.
Why should I have to block certain callers, when a little respect is all that is required?

baldie suggested a second sim card. That is great if you have a phone that takes 2, but would not stop calls or messages from arriving.

active8s also suggests getting a separate phone for play. I should not have to have that added expense and inconvenience.

Respect, people. That's all it takes.

Thanks for your comments.

I once received an out I the blue offer from a shop (that I’d previously phoned) by text. I didn’t appreciate that and blocked the number, stopped going there. I don’t want that.
Most MLs reply the same day or not at all. That’s how it should be.

If you use android phone, block the number and you will not get any text/calls on your screen. But those texts will still be there in block texts folder. To acess these go to your msg and then setting and then blocked msges. You can see all of them there.
Only some one who has access your phone and is specifically looking for them will find them.

I agree with the theme is this thread, it is an absolute no no for WLs to call a guy's phone without consent or arrangement. In a previous marriage I was sent an sms about new girls from Dream Lane at 2am. See how that can cause problems?

yeah it explains why it was 'previous' :P

Only this week I got an sms from massage boutique in maddington. And I hadn’t been there for months. They were advertising new girls.

Nonetheless, I blocked their number but was not happy one bit about their sms.

When a mother hen does shit like that they are desperate and/or are just trying to make their LV money by volume without much concern for other people's consequences...

May the Force Not Be with Them ... ;)

I agree with all Lord Spikey has to say...I shouldn't be bothered by anyone I don't want to be in a conversation in that I haven't started...I shouldn't have to take the precaution of blocking certain numbers,...I shouldn't have to buy a second phone or sim card....I'm not interested in any "daily specials"....it's really quite simple....do not contact me.....this is exactly why I now am a "walk-in" so they don't have my contact details on file...

Walkins are good for that. But I like it when you find a reliable and good service from a private lady. Shops are very hit and miss.

absolutely correct.....private ladies are the best.....you are able to establish ground rules that you each respect...

I'm single and have a 2nd phone so it doesn't bother me. I get texts from agencies. I've let some regulars in the past contact me.

I must be one of the few that isn't bothered if contacted by working ladies, although I am single and have nothing to hide. But I can see where it could be a problem if married or in a relationship.

I usually send a text directly after (sometimes I forget so I don't send it as it is then too late) thanking my client for coming to see me.

I would never ring or text a client randomly as I don't know their home situation and not everyone has a second phone, I would hate to cause any issues, however if they message me I will always message back and they usually keep up to date with my regular instagram posts!

Xx

I usually don't mind being contacted after the fact (as I'm single and live alone), however a few years ago I was bombarded with texts from one WL who had either become smitten or more likely was looking for someone to help her stay in Australia. She soon got the message after realising I wasn't going to respond to her texts.

As a standard; Never send specials. Never say hi.
As Charlie Sheen once said "I don't pay them for sex, I pay them to leave"

That being said, I have had to reach out to a client due to unforeseen circumstances. Which I didn't like having to do.
And I've also reached out to express gratitude for being defended on this forum.

I reply to frequent return clients, but it is them that open up the lines of communication.

If the connection is there then I love getting a message from loverly WL, but not spam from the local AMP

I've received texts from people, and the only place they could have gotten my number was the Covid register. Yes, I could have the app, but who knows where that data ends up.
Anyway, receiving the texts didn't offend me so much, but I could image some would be really annoyed.

excuse my ignorance but what Is ‘AMP?’

AMP = Asian Massage Parlour
