Working girls paying tax

Just asking for a friend who is working in an AMP and would like to do it honestly and pay tax so as not to have to worry about how much she earns and getting questioned about where her money comes from.
What is involved in doing this, and who is a good accountant to go see and sort things out with, as I would imagine there would be some pretty good work related expenses to claim for.

Probably the best way would be for her to get an ABN and set herself up as a contractor. Also is she a permanent resident or is she on a student visa? If she is on a student visa she can only legally work 20hrs a week during the study year, but can work fulltime during student vacation breaks. So if she's working more than she is allowed, this will get picked up when completing a tax return.
