You're so right, babe, Maryanne turned Langtrees into an icon and a very safe space and I think that's why so many ladies travel from interstate and overseas to work at the Iconic Langtrees and gentlemen from all over put Langtrees on their 'to-do' list when visiting Perth. Maryanne has a fantastic deal where she offers to go to lunch in exchange for a donation to the Royal Flying Doctors. That's an amazing and generous contribution to charity, and there are many examples over the years of Maryanne and Langtrees giving back to the community.

Thank you so much, the kindest words I think I have ever read about the dragon of Langtrees (Mrs Langtrees). I loved " we are one, but we are many as I have always thought of all sex workers as equal. Many a time, the Langtrees ladies have got a little pretentious, and I would say, are we better than the ladies of Happy Haven? Happy Haven is now closed, but looked after many ladies & clients in its time... the girls would say, of course we are...I would say I worked at Happy Haven (it was only for an afternoon & I made $300 bucks 42 years ago, a fortune in today's money) does that make you better than me...it did get a lot of them thinking...we are one industry with the good and the bad, and the sad mixed together,,,as sisters we need to look out for our co-workers.. I don't want to change the world for the Langtrees Ladies...I want to change the world for all sex workers xxx
