after asking so many of our clients why Corona is served with lime/lemon and usually getting a "no idea" or "taste better" ......I finally got an explanation that makes sense. Lime/lemon is not supposed to be in the bottle for taste refinement but wedged in the bottle neck to keep the flies from the bottle opening. Thinking Mexico, heat and flies - yep, that makes sense ;)

This kept me thinking for a solid 5 minutes and then probably a yes agreeing to it! Interesting.

Actually, I didn't - hard to believe in the 21st century 😂 - and there is something about finding things out the old fashioned way - like in ancient times, BG
Yeah, but asking 20 people will result in 20 different answers, none of which might be accurate 😂

Anyone who says it's anything other than taste us all bullshit. There was a mega factories episode (prolly on YouTube) where the corona guy explained that it all came from Californian surfers. They spent millions of dollars trying to stop people from spoiling their beer and just have up.

The lime or lemon in Corona is all about enhancing the flavour and adding a fresh twist! Plus, it just looks cool and makes the beer feel more beachy! 🍻🍋

On a corona brewery tour i was told it was to clean the rust left from the lid. Dont drink corona and i definatly wouldnt now its made in china
