WHY IS IT SO QUIET?

Well this was adressed and discussed in another thread.
While MAK has indicated the time of the year is a big factor. I think its being simplistic.
Fact is things really suck .Every one I know including me has either lost thier job. about to lose thier job or might lose thier job and has recieved a pay cut.
Simple economics dictates that makes it bloody hard to justify seeing a $400 an hour lady when just a bit of work will turn up an equivalent private lady including most extras for $300 or less
Or as many are doing turning to Amps.
And others yet are either not punting or as is my case not punting as much and only selecting the best value for money (asian lady last monday 27 3 hrs for $200)
Theres no simple answer to this but as the economy sucks more. More privates and amatuers are hitting the market and meeting the market.
Which will leave only the customers who dont know where to look for alternatives visiting the higher pricing brothels.
And as privates are making alot more per client your actually much more likely to get enthusiastic service than a lady in a brothel making half what they do.
The private doesnt have to work flat out all day to make coin.

Sooo true gals who always make the most in the industry move month to month n follow the money train :-)... however for Mums and others with commitments this is not usually possible so you have to soak up quiet times!

To quote MAK - You need to say to yourself as a business woman, how many regulars do I have? What do I do to avoid the slower periods, what can I do to be proactive rather than moan its boring. (LIKE)

......and that is the attitude of a successful and enterprising businesswomen, whereas others are happy to simply sit around and whinge

There are two factors at work here.

Firstly we have the cashed up bogans on FiFo wages leaving the state due to the downturn in mining construction work. They aren't extinct but their numbers are depleted and those remaining are a bit more savvy about looking after their cash.

Secondly, at this time of the year people get their first post-Christmas credit card bill and if that looks like a mobile 'phone number then it is belt-tightening time. Remember that this is also the rime when households with kids get slugged with back to school costs which make it harder for Dad to squirrel away a bit of cash for a punt.

Mary Anne is doing the right thing by chivvying her girls up to be more professional in their approach to work and stopping the "extra-extra" game - much smarter than just dropping prices. I have no doubt Langtrees will survive - just that the jam will be a bit thinner on the bread for a while.

I agree about the need to have a shake up but anyone could see this downturn in the sex industry was going to happen.
Better to have been proactive and taken action a few months ago when the writing was on the wall than to be reactive to the downturn now it is already here. The best managers see things coming and act in advance!
 
The big issue is value for money. Your paying $400ph for a $200 ph lady.
For $400 you will have no issues getting a lady for 2 hours and extras arnt mentioned.. they just happen
Its economics 101
Langtrees will survive as there will always be guys wanting right now no hassels and other guys that know of no other way than a brothel (the internet is reducing these guys)
 
Value for money (as opposed to lowest price) is definitely the key point. I guess the role I see LT and similar establishments playing is offering a guarantee (of sorts) of minimum quality and standards. That includes the very important health and hygiene aspects as well as the quality of the ladies and level of service. Of course, the rooms, ambience and support staff are a cut (usually several cuts) above the cheap joints as well -- usually, not always. So the other $200 is paying for that quality assurance: a punter can have a reasonably high degree of confidence he will leave with a good/great experience. Or should be able to expect that for the premium anyway.

However, there are cheaper and equally cheerful places around (Sydney being Canberra's go-to destination for those wishing to sample a much larger variety of fleshpots), which is why it is important for LT to maintain and lift its game as the current reinvigoration campaign seems to be doing. Competition is good for keeping businesses on their toes.

As for private WLs, I do actually prefer a one-on-one encounter, both for privacy and discretion purposes and a sense of it adding to the GFE illusion. But finding that gem of a quality fair-priced professional courtesan, or nice girl/MILF-next-door part-timer, in amongst the scores of over-priced wannabes is the challenge: there are very very few PWLs (as opposed to PMLs) I want to see again and again. And it is a sufficient supply of loyal regular customers that will get most businesses, sole traders and establishments alike, through the lean times.

That being said, with tougher economic conditions, most people have less disposable income, so price does become very important.

With any role in any industry there are lean and fat seasons.............

Kmart and Big W are just finished having their high season and are preparing for Easter. Late night restaurants have their low season when it is cold and wet in winter.

As Bro Pirate pointed out, January is an up season because of scheduled large scale organised entertainment in Adelaide.

Things are what they are..........and successful people/enterprises do not change their head space or lower their rigor during down times. That is what maintains their success throughout the seasons.

There are still WL and ML that are doing extremely well regardless of the present situation.......

As many have pointed out within 2 weeks from now things will elevate. It is a cycle that has repeated itself since the dawn of the profession...

There are tactics that can be used when conversing with a private that asists greatly when working out how enthusiastic they may be .
Its soon to be put in an e book by another member here so I cant give too much away.
Suffice to say you need to be able to test thier patience without asking the same dreary idiotic timewasters messeges.
If they hammer you down and demand a booking or piss off you can be garanteed youll get the same rush service when with them.
Any lady thats been working too long will not put up with it but will also give hopeless robotic by the numbers service.
You need to seek out ladys that have not yet figured theres tactics for doing as little as possible....
You wont find these ladys in a brothel. Any proffesional is a master at it garanteed
The paradox is the more sex a lady has the worse she gets at it not practice makes perfect
 
Bushseeker, everytime I go into a booking I give it my all, even if the punter is virtually impossible to get along with. With that said, I DO give a great service and have barely had a complaint the whole time I've worked. Just thought I'd let you know. Maybe you could hook me up with some of your punters and you'll see what I mean.
