What is the grossest thing you have witnessed while eating out at a restaurant?
 
One time, in an otherwise nice restaurant in Taiwan, we sat eating our meals watching rats run around the walls under the furniture
 
Once at a fairly upmarket restaurant a guy at a nearby table suddenly coughed then threw up all over the table in an "Excorcist" style projectile hurl.

Kudos to the waitstaff - they handled it quickly and discretely but my dinner didn't look quite as good after that:dead:
 
You should see me huge worm alive in Vietnam, very expensive, Its local delicacy. Sago/Mulong.

Found a live maggot in a drumstick, mmmm KFC, maggot licking good. It was having a sauna good time there.

I was at Atrium Buffet for dinner one time, jolly happy about the oyster being aphrodisiac, i took a bunch. On quaffing my 1st, a hairy slim worm was rocking the shell of the oyster. Hmmm, so i pushed it aside and suck it in.
 
My favourite relies on cuteness to be gross

Many years ago went to a fish and chip shop and the lady hair had more oil than what she was cooking in. Her hair was every where and she kept trying to tuck it behind her ears.Her white tunic now stained with brown patches. It was gross. My father and I only ordered for my Mum and sister and bought food for us at another shop. Of course we took great delight after they had eaten to describe the gross lady who had cooked their meal. :)
 
I was in London one sunny day (yes sunny, honest) and after eating at least half my English breakfast, i discovered that my fried bread was mouldy. What really grossed me out is when my son complained before i realised we were all eating mouldy bread, and i thought he was just being fussy and so i said stop being a baby and eat up.... he did. I bought him the biggest ice cream ever, such guilt.
 
Out at Tapas fancy resturant....guy on opposite table cracking up laughing...until he started coughing and spluttering and this thick green snort came out his nostrils ..it was really gross cause I was eating at the time and dry retched badly where I had to be taken home.

That would have put me off food forever.... I hate when people even blow there nose near me, let alone snot everywhere when im eating.
Even the thought of it has just turned my stomach - yuck yuck yuck!!!!

What I want to know is what is there to actually eat in a chook's foot besides skin, bone and the claws? or is it just to satisfy a primal urge to gnaw on something??:confused:

I haven't had lunch yet (have a sudden hankering for dead pig and unborn chicks) so pretty much anything looks appetising right now, even all of these exotic dishes.
 
Yes, I believe so. 'Special' being a subjective adjective, on the tongue of the taster as it were.
