I recently heard the term orchidsexual for the first time and learned that it describes someone who experiences sexual attraction but does not desire to act on it or engage in sexual relationships. It’s considered part of the asexual spectrum and highlights how attraction and desire don’t always go hand in hand. I find it really interesting how nuanced and diverse people’s experiences with sexuality can be.
