Hi all.

I have been thinking a while on this, specially after spending few months abroad early this year.

I have seen inflation creeping up in the WL market with gal's that used to charge $400 going to $700 per hour, and ridiculous adds in scarlet blue with gal's charging awesome $1000 x h and up.

There is no woman in this world for which I would pay $1000 per hour. I prefer 10x do a $200xh five times with a reliable regular nice person than one gal full of restrictions and charging $1000 for 1h. Specially knowing that I could get the same supermodel for a fraction of the price in a less inflated country.

I think, similar to house market, where idiot buyers are getting loans they won't be able to pay, something is going on on scort markets.

Escorts are a luxury, not a necessity. My body/time etc is worth millions. Just because you can’t afford it, it’s not an escorts problem.

How do you know what people can or can't afford? Not everybody lives paycheck to paycheck. I'm sure there are hundreds of people in WA who are able and willing to pay $1,000 an hour for an escort. All the escort needs to do is find a couple people like that and she's set for and easy life.

And if she's unsuccessful at getting punters to pay that amount then she can reduce her prices.

I couldn't care less what an escort asks. I'll be visiting escorts that meet my budget.

because people can afford higher prices. Not all people have the same wage. Some have high wages.

Granted it's a demand vs supply equation. Common sense still prevails.

Lets say, I work 1 full day (and pay tax on this) and then enjoy it by blowing the cash in an hour? No thanks.

Nobody is forcing people to pay that price... but people will... there is a heap of rubbish money being thrown at people by the mining companies for basic jobs... it's ruining the whole economy... they are giving a 20 something year old straight out of uni / tafe 150,000 with no experience... other companies can't compete so can't get staff so can't keep running.. I was in the city today and Gramercy was shut mon-thurs due to no staff... the place is usually full every day so it must be dire for them to close up and lose money...

I don't think so. Few of you are a luxury, most of you are common girls helping common man to fulfil one of our most basic instincts that otherwise could not be met. May sound basic, but go and see how places with bans in prostitution are so fucked up. Perhaps a more important social function than a luxury.

Hey Katrina, you probably are making lots. However it is comments like these make me feel as though we are getting fleeced.

I don't work in the mines, I do well because I bust my arse and do long hours.

I respect WL and I also respect the value of money.

Great topic. I have certainly noticed just about every Non Asian in scarlet blue is asking for $500 per hour (GFE) in past year or two. Before then it was particularly attractive or well reviewed escorts at that price. The past few years have been a bubble as people have not had to pay much interest and been forced to stay home. Seems we spend on our homes or whores! Just like builders fees are up 20-30% the ladies have raised their fees too. But the correction in spending habits must come. I for one spend $500 or more regularly but very rarely walk away with a great experience.

Disagree. Why is there a big push to allow escorts on the ndis?

We as humans need human contact. Without it, it can lead to mental problems such as depression etc. among other health issues. There are numerous studies in this feild.

The price reflects attitude. Instead of giving a client an experience, its more the case of using the client like an atm. A woman who is more grounded, down to earth understands the service they provide is more than a financial transaction.

Like all things people will charge at a price that sells or if they control the power of the system to sell at over inflated prices. Just like the rental crises atm. People will always be left behind which is why a capitalised market will never succeed.

In my eyes the price is not fair over $350 per hr for our overall society (pension, students, other gov aid) but if I were a w/l Id be asking as much as I can get!
 
Visits to sex workers, AMPs etc should be tax deductible at least. All my locals pay no or negligible tax while us bunnies working a mainstream job have to pick up the slack for the free loaders.

How many times have you gone to pay with a card only to have 5 - 10% added on for "GST" when they are not even paying basic taxes. High prices and no tax ... seems like double dipping to me.

Every successful business runs on this. In my business I can charge 2 or 3 times more than the cheapest but I still get the work because I have found a good market, I am long established and good at what I do. Able to earn in 3 days what others earn in 6 days a week.

Every business has a tipping point and finding that point is what brings success. That point where you get the maximum possible per hour while still getting enough clientele to fill out the week.

Some ladies are able to see 8-10 clients a week at $500-600 an hour while others need to see 20-25 for the same income. They may do the same things but target different markets and have different brands.I know which I'd rather be.

For a working lady, less is more a higher price may mean you see less clients but this Is better on our body and mind . Our choice of work is very taxng. It definitely is not easy money. Work smarter abd be good at it is my advice !

I think that says a lot... you are spending big but getting poor results .. if you are doing that it's time to reset.. go back to the small massage places or fs girls and see how the experience differs... I have had great times with girls under 200 and my regulars are in that group who go above and beyond
