WHAT IS A "MUST HAVE" IN YOUR WORK BAG?... OTHER THAN LUBE & CONDOMS

Way back, when I worked as an Escort, I carried a huge briefcase filled with EVERYTHING. I was comically referred to as "Mrs Gadget". I carried so many many items, to ensure I could carry out any special request.
My most important tool though, was my very important, wee tub, of VICKS VAPORUB.
Having a weak stomach and a nose like a bloodhound, not only bad body odours affected me, but even some soaps and aftershave's would make me gag. BUT a Tiny dab of vicks in each nostril and I could take on the smelliest arsehole ever.

The subject of Every Day Carry (EDC), is a varied one. Other than my normal work items, I carry a folding and fixed blade knife, power bank and cables, multitool, fire lighting gear, a small medical/trauma kit, water bottle and emergency cash. That’s just the bag I walk into the office with, let alone my pockets and my car. I think. May have skewed from the subject a little🤷‍♂️……….

This is so true 😂 my bag is basically a survival kit at this point. I swear the longer you work, the more random things you realise you need. Mine has everything from perfume, wipes and spare makeup to mints, deodorant, charger, Panadol, safety pins and a whole emergency outfit. The one thing I always make sure I have is a mini sewing kit though, a broken strap or wardrobe malfunction at the wrong time can ruin your whole night. I think we all slowly become Mrs Gadget eventually.

Definitely a power bank because, unlike lube & condoms, a dead phone can ruin the entire workday 😂

I keep it simple with just my mobile phone, lip balm, AirPods, and a charger. As long as my phone is charged, my lips aren’t dry, and my music is playing, I can face anything haha!

Wet wipes.
They handle everything from sticky coffee spills to questionable public surfaces and sudden mid-day heatwaves. Dust, sauce, mysterious subway residues—wipes turn "I am covered in filth" into "nothing happened" in 3 seconds flat.
