Men have been searching for the answer for centuries because women speak in riddles, speaking with how they feel and not what they say and expecting men to read their minds.

Frankly, while there are very few women on this forum, I would have liked to hear what they want in the relationship, rather than getting the men to answer coz we're just guessing at this point. I'd want to hear from women, even though the sample size is too small and probably biased.
