Here I am stuck in another line at the supermarket and am wondering what is every one thinking about, looking at what some ppl do makes me wonder if they are thinking at all

Ahoy;- Well when I am waiting in line at the supermarket, I always wondering where the flash Dancers have gone???????????????

Beyonce End Of Time Target Flash Mob

Last week, as I was waiting for an 'assisted checkout' terminal to become available, a tall young hot blonde was standing in the line to my right. We had smiled at each other briefly a few minutes earlier when I passed her in the fruit and vegetable section. So naturally I thought about her. A lot. Like really a whole lot. And yes, a high degree of surreptitious perving was involved to continue stoking my internal fantasy fabricator module which was working overtime. I think I might even have let some dude cut in line... but I can't be sure and didn't really care. His XLNC was otherwise occupied.

in the 10 or less item checkout i tend to count what the person in front of me has.....6.7.8.9.10.11.12........grrrrrrr....cant u read the sign

ok if theres a queue at yhe self serve I select the checkout with the hottest chick.... least then I have something to look forward too..

i dont get time to think those checkout lines are dangerous
i have 4 Kids that like to grab all those nice looking Chocolates that they purposefully place right there

Yep, a bit of people watching is about the only thing I can do in a checkout line. One of the few benefits of retirement, though, is that I can hit the shops when things are a bit quieter and the queues are shorter. Of course there are fewer checkouts open but it is a lot quicker, especially if I use the automated checkouts.

I avoid the self checkout aisle like the plague
There just another reason person to person contact is on the way out
God forbid you have to interact with someone in this ever increasingly impersonal world

Not to mention the jobs those machines are stealing

Aren't kids the best they just don't know the pressure they put on you but you wouldn't give them up for all the tea in china, but I must say if you offered me at the right time I'd give it a good thought lol

yea but even as an adult I will go out of my way to use them to buy frangas rather than run them past the 15yo girl in her after school job

Self check out, what a kill joy...:-)

I probably won't grow up, young at heart, young in mind, ahh look there's me in the video...;-)

I feel sorry for the people who want just to get past to do their shopping
They danced for ages

Judging by the expression on the faces of a few who walked past, they were definitely not happy Jan.

A judicious shout of 'Fire!' or 'Oh my God, he's got a gun!' would help clear a path -- you'd have to scream mighty loud though to be heard over the 'music'.

One thing I do find myself thinking is shit I forgot that but I'm next in line and I've been here nearly ten minuets should I go get it or can I do with out it to next time or give up my poll position,so I often go stuff it I missed it for a reason and I'm in front so I'm going through

please dont decline please dont decline lol
How true it is and then if this one doesn't work which one next then when is the best time to run lol

thankfully there are some jobs that are safe from machines, the personal touch and can't get from a machine

The oldest profession in the world, and probably the last profession in the world, I wonder who the Adam and eve of mars will be?..mmm

No not keen to flash the XXXL framgers around....Lol,....I'm bemused by that, ribbed is the go,....Lol..... that moment when you have planted a thought innocently in the checkout girls mind and said nothing, and can get away with it,........thats priceless...;-)

If I am in a long line my mind generally alternates between coming up with ways to make the lines move more efficiently, thinking about where I need to be at next, and wondering why some people have absolutely no concept of personal space (I shouldn't be able to feel or smell anyone else's breath in the checkout line).

Why haven't I thought of this before? I'd get my jollies by buying an armful of prophylactics (and nothing else) from the cutest checkout chick on shift.

I bought a certain performance enhancing product from the chemist a couple of weeks ago and a pretty young thing took my money. Priceless indeed.
