Canberra must be totally self sufficient in electricity Maybe even enough power to feed back into the grid and power a few Sydney suburbs as well

Don't forget, h2, Canberra is a meeting place for representatives from all around the country. They only stay here a couple of weeks at a time then return to their home states. So we'd experience a drop in self-sufficiency when all that kinetic energy disperses. :p
