Wishing winter would hurry up and get here, i can not wait to get out and about walking up those hills ... the count down is on for the Mt Kosciusko walk but where too after that seeing as its the highest peak in Australia .... Im thinking the Pinnacles seeing as i go to NZ often and its very close to where i visit.
Has anyone done the Pinnacles? I'm really interested to hear about it :)

A nice walk I like to do in Winter is around part of the Tuggeranong lake late on Saturday or Sunday morning after I buy a cheese toastie and almond milk cappuccino from Mimi's (she is on east side of the lake, south of the boat shed and beside a car park).

the count down is on till the end of Summer, hurry up winter i miss those hills... i walked around Lake Burley Griffen yesterday, the lake is so low , it also smelt really bad but at least the smoke has cleared and we can actually get outside now which is great :)

I'll have to do this next week 😉

Now that the weather has cooled down and the risk of running into snake is gone (god i hope so) im back walking up those hills, woohoo!!!
Ive been doing Mt Ainslie but far out, seems everyone is a hill walker now... ive been going really early at the crack of dawn to miss the crowds because by 8am the hill is crowded and there are people every where.

So i love walking up hills/mountains anything with an incline, for my birthday im planning to to the Mt Kosciusko track, which is mainland Australia's highest mountain, at 2,228 meters above sea level. Until i get the chance to do it here are some posts of my other adventures around Canberra... If y'all have any recommendations or hikes you have done yourself i would love to hear about it :)
Might get e fine 😂

AAAHHHH So the hill walks have been put on hold because one of my greatest fears finally came true, i was walking up a hill i hadn't done before, it was mid morning , the sun was shining, i was on a dirt track and then ........ i herd a noise ....... i stopped, looked, i didnt see anything so i took a couple more steps ....... then hello .... a big brown snake came slithering out about 2-3 meters in front of me.;..... i freaked out and all sense went out the window... i turned around and ran and now im too scared to walk up hills.
Snakes are out and about early this year in Canberra so take care while your out and about.
