WA Safe App

So was reading that its a requirment that adult entertainment places like brothels and massage places etc require you to use tge WA Safe app.

How does that make you feel that that in some of the places you visit for some hanky panky will now be recorded?

Not bothered either and the three places (all different) that I have visited since the regulations have come into effect have not had a QR code or manual registration displayed. So it's still very much a hit and miss in regards to AMP's.

No one seems bothered about it at all,
As sircurious mentioned, since the regulations were introduced I have visited various AMP's, Pubs ect and I have only been asked once to sign in!
And that was at a Café/Restaurant
No signs of Social Distancing at the pubs either

I was thanked, given a hug and a very, very big smooch when I used Safe App last AMP I visited.

I don't have a problem using the SafeWA app. The data is only examined if a COVID positive person attends the venue. The probability is very low.

I would be more concerned about the video surveillance inside the establishment. This could be shared with anybody or uploaded to various websites.

if i get filmed at an establishment and if it goes to various websites, i hope i get a job in porn then.. or get paid by it..

I have no issues with using the app and I've recently visited a few different places. A legit remedial therapist which required use of the app. Two different AMP's, one had a sign-in sheet but was not requested to complete it. The other asked for nothing. Seems to be very hit and miss and enforced more in the legit world.

haha what if you have terrible hand writing where a 7 could be a 1 and 3 an 8 ect ect or just unreadable hand writing until you know what your looking for then it looks fine but in all seriousness just use your phone and sign in idk why people worry about taking phones in to such places

Just announced by the Premier that the new WA COVID Safe App rules that were going to be implemented on Saturday 12 February have now been brought forward to 6am - Tuesday 2 February!!!!

Man up you are on camera anyway even on the cheap joints.

And consider this if a WL gets covid-19 someone is going to go thro all film phone and paper records , you put your name down as Micky Mouse and the most likely thing that will happen is that you will have your photo on a public web sight seeking your identity.

That's actually a really good point! The contract tracers stop at nothing to trace exposure sites and people.

I'd personally rather have my name on a register somewhere rather than risk a fine for giving incorrect or ineligible details.

one thing to watch is that when you open the app, you can look at the last place you logged in.
so if that may cause a problem for you, a trip to woolies/coles on the way home (or log in anywhere else) may be required;)

Good point! I wonder if more are seeing privates now rather than AMPS?

i don't see the problem.
even if you were contacted, i'm sure the tracers would be discreet.
they wouldn't be banging on your front door in the middle of the night in full PPE with an armed police escort and ambulance.
the police negotiator on a tannoy "come out of the house, we have you surrounded"
"we know you've been to a massage parlour, come out with your hands in the air"
if they ordered you to get tested, get creative, just say it was a contact from a maccers/hungry jacks or lunch bar

bet they dont make ya scan
Pretty hard to rock up to a private without making some sort of contact with him/her, so it would be easy enough to figure out who was there at what time.
Whether the private would willingly give that client information to the Contact Tracers???
Or even whether the authorities could legally force them to supply the information?????

One would hope that this thing will eventually run its course and we can return to a new normal life
But if people keep doing the wrong thing, then it is just going to keep on popping up over and over again
