Urethral/Scrotum Discomfort

Hi All, before reading the below, I will be seeing a doctor when i can for more advice, Anyway , will appreciate any advice or words of wisdom and care regarding my current story.

about a week ago i noticed a Faint reddish spot, about 2mm in size and below the Penis hole on my head of penis. It was not raised or anything. I initially thought it may have been from Oral sex? its the only think sexually that has happened to me that could have caused this is my opinion. Anywayafter 2-4 more days i noticed it maybe only a little more bigger , and some external urethra redness aswell (either side of pee hole opening top) . I then went to get antifungal cream hoping for the best, I dont really think it did much, so i quickly got an STD check, and all results where negative. I then learnt abit about uthritis and prostitis and so on. Anyway ive now been on Docylynine for 3 days now and if anything its no better. The rednesss on my penis head i believe is much better, but now my urethra discomfort goes to a dull ache around the lower scrotum. and sitting down makes it much worse. Even today my bladder has seemed to ache abit at times. Im not in complete stress or shock as i have experienced no Pain. but its definintly inflamattion of some sort. Any advice would be appreciated. its a very dull feeling below the scrotum almost around the muscles between balls and anus. its very tender in that area and bal;ls have retracted too (not sagging as usual), ive also had no discharge , i have had frequent urine, but this could also be from a drug called Mestonin that im taking for a muscle issue unrelated . UTI? Prostitis? anything else? any advice? as someone who is a critical thinker, i still worry incase seeing a doctor will do nothing as you know, some GPs are absolutely hopeless.. someone experience with same issues would be great. im still unsure if it was from oral bacteria or something else? my guess is that it must be related to the oral?? but not STD related? :(

I will follow up on my symptoms and so on in weeks to come.
 
Stay on the doxy and give it a chance to work. Good on you for getting an STI check. If it's a UTI the doxy will sort it. I'm no Dr but I doubt it's prostitis. Lots of non STI germs in the mouth and saliva hence covered is always best. Get to your doctor and get professional advice mate. I hope it's easily resolved as I'm guessing you're stressing big time. The doctor i saw today was so useless,
So i have no idea, he didnt even chech the prostate, just did some small pats, its a very dull feeling below the scrotum is the best way i can explain it
But it was intitially tiny inflamattion and just tickle on head at urethral 4-5 days ago

Fingers crossed it goes away. I wanted a massage today but i just could not consider going feeling like this.

Sounds like a non sexually trasmitted infection to me, hence why the sexually trasmitted screen didn't pick it up . Did they do a herpes simplex virus 2 test? I have heard they don't do a simplex virus 2 test in a standard screen due to herpes simplex 2 being so common. Sounds like you need to do a urine test just for an infection. Then again, I'm no expert.
 
todays symptoms are less Urethral (for now) and more Bladder ( i think), every few minutes id get this random cramp feeling from around the bladder area , its a different feeling to intestinal congestion which I'm well aware off , although i do think it feel central or more right sided back if anything, Still inflamation feeling below scrotum, and balls are just about completely retracted , usually they are hanging, right now i could shave them without a cut, because its almost like they are not their when i pull my penis back. Could it be this due to Mestonin??? The only reason i think it might not be this is because of the timeline with oral and the initial redness around the urethra opening. although i started Mestonin around the same time, which may be just an unfortunate side effect ontop of another bacteria issue??? I mean, i could see a GP, but they would have no idea about this just like the one i saw yesterday. The balls retraction also have nothing to do with the cold weather, i wear step-ones boxers and its generally very comfortable and warm. the feeling is best described as imagining your wearing underpants all day that are 2 sizes smaller then you are putting some pressure on lower scrotum, with some internal feelings around urine activity / bladder?. which i wasnt having 3 days ago when i started doxy, i just started that due to the redness on urethra which i think is a little lower.

I have redone urine samples as i was worried about the timing in the day of the Original one ( it was afternoon and im not sure the urine sample was good enough compared to a first pass morning urine test). Although if it was to be clamydia, im already on the Antiobiotic that would be used for it.

I do have ME/CFS, an immune system and autonomic regulation issues illness. this can certainly hyper some inflammation, as well as make things take longer to heal. I got an insect bight 1 year ago around my left bicep and still to this day there is a small hard lump in that area beneath skin for example, id imagine most healthy people would have such bites just eventually return to normal?

I am also unfamiliar with prostitis and what i would need to do if this is the likely diagnosis. do i just wait and wait and wait for this dullness to go away? would i need to do more tests ?, a urine culture for basics? as far as im aware, no pain or dullness is as low as anus, but im unfamiliar with prostate location and a dullness feeling that could be coming from it. especially if its linked to urethra

Tesiticular torsion? Twisted testicles? Usually you find out you have testicular torsion due to an acute pain I have read. There will also be swelling. Doctor will send you for ultrasound or go to emergency department at hospital. It's usually 3 days before they have to amputate atleast one testicle if the testicles are getting no blood.

Certainly no swelling, just retraction, asif it was freezing cold and they where hiding. no pain either, just dullness. Id imagine the above would be irrelevent without the pain? as if i had pain aswell id certainly feel it and be off to emergency myself without asking!

i shall if nothing improves, thanks. the issue i have is my main doctor for MECFS is so busy because he sees all of us. so if i do an ultrasound through an online quick updoc call/ Ultrasound paper. ill have no idea with who to get the results from when you get such tests booked from an online doctor. Usually they handball the results to your own doc? i think. but his so busy
 
I had somthing similiar a few years back,did all the tests and they all came back clear, nothing seemed to fix it and was very uncomfortable, I did alot of research, my doctor gave me the ultrasound referral letter but also got her to give me another round of antibotics, and with my research i also cuped them with perscription celebrex anti inflammatories witch i had access to

. Did the trick and has never come back. I put it down to a massuse rubbing her nipple into the tip of my cock but could be wrong.

hopefully my symptoms die down, today its been less painful aching when i have been sitting down, in the previous 48 hours sitting down caused it to worsen. today the dullness feeling has gone more towards bladder which comes and goes with frequent urination and toilet visits. however its very hard to know how much is related to what we suspect, or MESTONIN side effects.

It doesn't sound like a UTI and besides, a urine test would have picked that up. I agree with Shazaam, an ultrasound would be best.
They would definitely send the results to the doctor you nominate and I'm guessing he might be able to call you with the results if he is too booked up for appointments. Keep us updated x

From an ex nurse. It would be very rare if it was MESTONIN side effect. If it was a torsion you would be in agony. Prostatitis is usually a bacterial infection so antibiotics will help, it sounds more like this as you get a dull ache (had it years ago) the best urine test is a mid stream one. So pee in the toilet then some in the pot then finish in the toilet again. The only other thing I can think of is a muscle pull or groin strain. Good luck

I'd see a doctor in person to get the referal for ultrasound. Its not hurting so the doctor may not even want to have a look as the doctor may have the ideology that if it's not hurting it's nothing serious. The people at the ultrasound place should be able to tell you at the time if something's seriously wrong.

thankyou , i will if nothing changes, today its hurt much much less when sitting, when before today, sitting caused extra dullness to the point where i had to stand up. My scrotum is very red, but i can only think its from how much ive touched it, massaged it for relief over night. its abit more soft now compared to the retraction of this morning. The main concern if the dullness goes away is the urethra discomfort. its not painful, but almost feels like the urine when going through is hitting some kind of inflammed area around the tip of penis which is giving more of a tickle then a pain feeling. Certainly no pain or agony, otherwise id go to ER straight away. i also noticed some nerve like pain that was like .5 seconds here and there around the scrotum, anus area. Wouldnt nerves be more related to Mestonin then it would for anything else, especially if its more external feeling then internal. Its why its so difficult with different symptoms possibly for different things. thats why the urethral discomfort is my main concern. within the penis specifically towards the top (inside)
 
I think 100% of people would say you should immediately see a G.P. in person. You can usually book G.P. online. Though G.P's can be expensive I still think you should see one.
 
Mate. Go see another Dr. TBH you're starting to sound like an attention seeker. If you have issues and concerns TS is not the place to get advice. If the first Dr you see is not helpful find one that is. You need help in one form or another. Get professional help. I hope they resolve your issues quickly.
