Everyone is entitled to the dignity and independence that comes from employment. If there are AMPs or other employers in the sector that are looking to hire, please make a comment here. Likewise, I am sure many of us would be willing to support new entrants to the industry as frequent and well paying customers.

Let's work together to make a difference.

Perhaps their saving grace will be their beauty and 'old world values' many men have chased the long distance dream of a Ukrainian bride, soon they will be in the same isle at woolies. Here's hoping their integration into a new country and culture doesn't add to the psychological damage they have already incurred.
 
I hate to see any AMP exploiting the expected influx of ladies from war-torn countries. Human trafficking could become a big issue given Rushia is well known for this. I have watched many documentaries on it. It's a multi-billion dollar industry for those running such things. If ladies choose, of free will to support their family, they best to work for Langtrees. I would suspect that it will be something kept a close eye on by authorities due to the potential trafficking issues that could arise by Eastern Europe syndicates

With A lot of refugees a lot of Ukraine women also remained and are fighting alongside the men to save there country from the Russian invasion let's just all welcome the Ukraine people what arrive on our shores and if they want work in the sex industry they certainly can.

Well said, hate to think after all that they have suffered that they are not exploited into something they are not comfortable in.
 
Its important to note that the Australian Government has only issued humanitarian visas to refugees from Ukraine that are only valid for three years for work and study. Also bear in mind that the Government will also tell the refugees where they can live etc for the next three years. As regional Australia is desperate for workers, it will most likely be these areas where the refugees are settled. The Government will also be looking at issuing visas to those refugees who posses a skill/qualification that will prove useful to Australia. So refugees who are agricultural workers, nurses, doctors etc will undoubtedly be given first preference.

It would be gross negligence to settle war refugees (most likely with complex post traumatic stress disorder [CPTSD]), away from capital cities and associated mental, physical and cultural infrastructure. Maybe after a comprehensive screening and support program...

Who knows they might like the peace and beauty of the country has to offer with the option of being able to commute to the city on public transport when they please till they settle in and find there way around there new country.

Remember this is the Australian Government we are talking about - they don't have a great track record on refugees etc.
 
While everyone would rather be CEO than a coal miner, not everyone working in a 'less desirable job' is being exploited. Circumstances may limit choices, but working in an AMP is still a choice. No one is being chained to a massage table. If we come across a Ukrainian in an AMP, are you really going to ask for an Asian instead?

I would be very happy with the Ukrainian lady.
 
I have no problem in giving work to any ladies that are wanting to work at a AMP.
BUT... They must work safely and have a happy attitude. A little naughty helps too!
There is nothing more off putting than arriving at a shop to some sour faced unhappy lady.
 
I see on the news this week about an Australian couple who flew to Ukraine to pick up their surrogate child . So child selling is still available. So I figure the Australian government will get a back hander for letting them into the country. Cash in hand or bsb direct. ? . A freaking war is going on yet you can fly into this shit country and pick up your designer baby and fly home . What the f$#@ is this shit.
Yet people are being slaughtered . And it is like ok stop shooting let the selfish Australians in to pick up their goods because they are paying for some poor women's womb to make a baby

Will depend if they want to make money to send back to help their family, any refugees will be looked after by the government and there will be no sortage of people welcoming them into their homes. There are also Ukraine communities already here, I can't see too many of them being forced into it.

Am I the only one who feels this thread is dislikeable and even despicable that some would want to participate in and seek profit from others misfortune?
What happened to helping others just for the sake of helping and showing some humanity?

In fairness though, that child would have been conceived long before the war broke out.
