Tide changing in Europe

Hmm!! One article in a left-wing British scandal rag does not a trend make.

There will always be opposition to sex work and in Europe the Churches have a much stronger hold over people and ,therefore, politicians than they do in Australia.

There will always be some problems with the sex industry and there will always be some wowsers trying to stamp it out.

Always subtle Col Dont ever change

Sweden is a country we think of as liberal But under swedish law it is not the service provider but the client who commits the crime
Although many girls would think this the only fair way to go I am sure

"Sweden is a country we think of as liberal"
Nothing like as liberal as it used to be though. Another example would be attitudes to soft drugs. Marijuana treated the same as crack/ice/heroin.

"in Europe the Churches have a much stronger hold over people and ,therefore, politicians"

Hmmm... in the case of Italy maybe (though Berlusconi was nailed for sex with a 17-year old, he wasn't nailed for paying for sex per se), but Germany? Not sure about that.

Also the German brothels are a pretty major player in the economy, pay taxes, attract tourists etc.

And Austria is No 3 in Europe for sex and tourism Although their redlight district is very Blah

"And Austria is No 3 in Europe for sex and tourism"

There's some good reviews on punter planet of Austria;s brothels, Switzerlands also are apparently very good

Not saying they didnt have great clubs and bars Just that the district was Dull
The outer ring under the train overpass is full of good bars and clubs and brothels
The girls in the bars all kinda jump out on to the sidewalk trying to get you to come inside Its just that the whole area lacks vibrancy and fun . Its not exactly Soho or Amsterdam
