As I was browsing through online profiles of working girls, I took notice of how many choose to hide their face and those that don't blur at all. As someone who chooses to blur their face for personal reasons, I was thinking about the pros and cons of being a "face out" escort.

For me, the biggest fear would be the rising use of "deep fake" AI revenge porn. I'm sure we've all seen it done of celebrities, but what's stopping people from using photos on our profiles to make their own porn of us?

What do you think? Do the pros of being a "face out" escort outweigh the fear of what people could do with the photos?

I hadn’t even thought of that. To take it one step further, AI could be used for revenge porn against anyone.
Back to the topic, it’s a real risk for face out WL. But not just revenge porn, any AI generated material could be created.

I'd be more concerned about AI being able to remove the blurring effect. It's pretty good at that if you know how to leverage it.

Denmark to grant citizens copyright of their own face, body and voice

In an effort to curb unsolicited generative AI and deepfakes, Denmark has announced that it is looking to change its copyright law to grant its citizens copyright of their own face, body and voice.

Love the Danes, they are a progressive nation. Hope more countries will follow suit on their new copyright laws.
As to the matter at hand, I am with Vader, being "face out" makes every escort vulnerable on so many levels. And as a golden rule - what isn't on the internet can't be misused.
