Thinking of going into the industry

B

BrunetteChick75

Hi everyone,

For quite a while I have been curious about working in the industry, but recently am taking the thought more seriously. Living in Brisbane, I have been doing some research on a few of the brothels here, making sure that I go into things with my eyes wide open. I have a full-time job but due to certain financial goals, am looking to do about 2 shifts a week. My feeling is that working at a brothel would be better peace of mind for me as a newcomer, and as far as security is concerned, compared to doing in/out calls etc. Would you agree?

I guess I just really wanted people's advice and/or guidance for someone who is new to the industry, and thoughts on how a person can expect to feel when they meet their very first customer on their very first shift!!! Should I go in with some kind of "plan of attack" on how to deal with the customer??? I am I naive in thinking that after a shift or two, things become a lot more relaxed for you?

Cheers guys. On a side note, I think it is fabulous how you are all so supportive of each other and take pride in what you do. :icon_thum

Hi Mary-Anne,

I've recently turned 30, and am single with no children.

Thank you for your time!

Not sure how it works in Brisbane, but one thing I do for any new girl that comes to Langtrees and is a bit nervous is choose their first client for them based on someone who is a regular and when they know they are seeing someone new, puff up with pride in being able to help them in to the industry and tend to be quite the teacher.. lol
It seems to give them great pleasure in being your first and can sometimes become a regular also. Being very friendly and attentive is always important as it makes them more at ease and feel very welcomed, some of them are very shy and nervous themselves and some girls don't actually see this and can forget to take the time to work this out and make them feel at ease.

Starting on a day shift here is good also as the guys can be a little different to the nigth one's. I believe you should always let them know your new to the industry and they seem to take more care with you as well and as you go along you'll pick up all sorts of tips and advice from other ladies as well which then guides you along the way until you get your own confidence and style. It's like anything, practice makes perfect and you'll gain new experiences week by week also and will adapt to this.

A lot of new girls can be nervous which is normal, but always be upfront as this will bring more out of the client for you and then it gets more relaxed as time goes on with your new confidence and you can make it quite enjoyable. Being a customer related service, to make a client feel like a king will always work as it will build a regular business for you, seeing people you have become comfortable with come back time and again by looking after them.

My thoughts anyway.

Thanks so much for the advice Serena. Muchly appreciated and extremely helpful. ;D

Thanks for the info, I did need to have a idea of age and circumstances to give you a fair answer.
As you have a full time job i would suggest that during a holiday period you give yourself a two to three week working stint away from home to see if the life style suits you.
It is a lot harder to work fulltime and the industry part time from my experiences, and one reason is you tend to not appreciate your main source of income, because in the industry you can make a weeks income in one night and this can tend to make you a little blaise'.
Another major problem is that you are not available for your friends and family and after a while all the questions start.
Most of us tend to compensate this by spending a little too much when we do catch up with family and friends and this soon becomes noticeable which leads to avoidance which can later cause problems.
Firstly if you are going to enter the industry make sure you have a clear goal (like the deposit for your own home)
Learn all the obligations that you have like taxation etc and do your self a realistic budget.Working two nights a week you need to do a monthly budget and then find the nightly average for the place you are working and then multiply this nightly figure by 8 shifts a month to give you a monthly likely income.
I could help with this if you would like to email me a current photo.Looks and presentation do play a major part of income earnings, but the strongest point is personality and attitude.
I have made you a member of langtrees private forum that is for our ladies and designed to give them all the information to make their working lifes easier.
It still isn't used that much by the ladies as they tend to aviod learning new skills like using a computer even in this age.
I will add more later ....
You will find the private forum at the bottom of the forum go through staff enterance.

Mary-Anne - thank you very much for your advice. Your post contained some points which I hadn't even considered, namely trying things out while I have a week or so off work, on annual leave. Would certainly take the pressure out of it for me, not to mention the red eyes the morning after an 8 hour shift til 2 in the morning, hey?!

I would be ever so grateful to take you up on your offer of helping me with a monthly budget. I have a few photos I would be happy to e-mail you - are you able to send me a private message with your e-mail address?

Thanks once again. The more information I find out, the more confident I seem to feel about my impending foray as a service provider.

Also, I attempted to access the "staff entrance" of the forum, but a note came up saying that I did not have access... ???

To Brunette Chick
I hope your going well. I was lucky in a way that I started through a male friend of mine who became my first client then got me a few clinets to start with. Then being at uni still before i placed my first ad I went to Magenta 9328 1387 mon -thurs 9-4pm - who went through a new workers kit with me - just mostly health and safety stuff. I survived at home quite well just having people call my phone - I got a different number and then come over. Then when i wanted to finish I just turned my phone off. It was hard sometimes because you slept where you worked but working during the day i never had anyone show up wihout calling first and I still have clients back from 18mths ago that deal with me having breaks for a few months when im busy with prac or uni or other work.

When I started up again at a parlour I had a few things to learn - and sometimes if you really arent attracted to them a massage routine helps - but like mary ann said if your attentive, listen chat with them and treat them with respect youll win them over and even if they dont become regulars its stilla nice feeling if they leave happy.
