Bunaken is an 8.08 km² island in the Bay of Manado, situated in the north of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Bunaken is part of the administrative city of Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi. The Bunaken Marine Park is part of the National Park, which also includes the ocean around the islands of Manado Tua, Siladen and Mantehage. You can meet a true "mermaid" in Bunaken Marine Park, and you can also get a glimpse of the life of the sea. In the Bunaken Marine Park, visitors can see a variety of unusual and colorful marine life along its sea bed. You can take a motorboat to enter this park. The ride from Manado takes about 40 minutes.
