Well, it certainly caused a nice little stir in the media and now the restaurant owner has put up his hand to take the blame for it. If it was "just a joke between friends" I wonder how it managed to get itself all over the media?
 
It gets all over the media now Because no matter what the event If one person in a room of say 500 is upset by anything whatsoever
its straight onto the phone and twitter etc
I mean even genuine light hearted jokes at someones expense , will upset someone and his /her outrage will be posted for the whole world to see
I hate twitter even you tube at times for just such reasons Look at me Look at me I'm outraged

It must have been restaurant staff because this peace was hijacked from the USA and originally used on Hillary Clinton.

Pathetic, not humorous. But storm in a teacup.

No one with a brain would give this sort of free kick to their opponent. (I suppose that means any politician or their advisors would do it).

This is why Sept 14 will make no difference to the country. A politician will win every seat, and 23 million Australians will lose.

Then to top the night off the Libs were not told this .

George Bush, Mikhael Gorbachov and Bob Hawke were holding a summit meeting in Tel Aviv when the Angel of the Lord appeared and said that God was really pissed off about the state that the world was in and that He was going to destroy it on Tuesday.

George Bush went back to the United States and announced in a 'State of the Nation Address' that he had good news and bad news. 'The good news is that there is a God and the bad news is that He is going to destroy the world next Tuesday.'

Mikhael Gorbachov went back to Russia and told 'Pravda' that he had bad news and worse news. 'The bad news is that contrary to communist doctrine there is a God and the worse news is that He is going to destroy the world next Tuesday'.

Bob Hawke went back to Australia and announced to John Laws on Radio 2UE that he had good news and better news. 'The good news is that, even though I never believed it, there is a God. And the better news is that by next Tuesday there will be no Australian child living in poverty'.
