To all the Perthites out there, A country bumpkin wants some help
Looking for a decent local in the CBD for a week or so.
Anybody know much about the Generous Squire in Murray St ?

As a pub, it's generally got a great atmosphere. Except on Friday nights when you get all the blokey office / admin workers who think a suit makes them more important than they actually are. Pretty common in the city though!

Not so generous with drink prices but it'll certainly quench your thirst.

...yep.....tied one on a bit last Friday for the first time in quite a while (went to Fenians, the Grosvenor & the Carlton) and my wallet was decidely sicker than me the next day.

If u in the city looking for a local, the grovesner is good

Lucky shag on the barrack street jetty is good place to relax, but were ever u go the drink prices will be near or over 10 big ones a pint.

i hate the squire, beer terrible and over priced and the food is bad
