The BANANA Experiment!

A group of scientists placed 5 monkeys in a cage and in the middle a ladder with bananas on top,

Every time a monkey went up the ladder, the scientists soaked the other monkeys with cold water! After a while every time a monkey went up the ladder, the other ones beat up the one on the ladder. After some time. no monkey dare to go up the ladder regardless of the temptation.

Scientists then decided to substitute one of the monkeys. The first thing that new monkey did was go up the ladder and immediately other monkeys beat him up. After several beatings followed by his attempts the new member learned not to climb that ladder even though never knew why!

The second monkey was substitute and the same thing happened. The first monkey participated on the beating for the second monkey. A third monkey was changed, then the fourth and finally fifth one, they were repeating the same.

What was left was a group of 5 monkeys those even though never received a cold shower, continued to beat up any monkey that makes an attempt to climb up the ladder.

So, can you guess what would be answer if it was possible to ask the monkeys why they would beat up all those who attempted to climb the ladder?? Well, the popular guess is "I dont know, thats how things are done around here!".

Yes, in many occasions we just dont care to think in different way to find a different way out. Its not as easy as to spell out. Our mind gets framed through schools, media and society as well.

Ooh I put this thread in wrong area, yes. I intended to put this in General Discussion. Do you know how to move this?

That is why I witness so much hate and criticism. Difference is though.......simple humans can create lame excuses and actually believe it..where the monkeys cannot.

I see this most often from the Ultimate evil of the universe.

You were in line to become XLNC's new best friend. Subversive , slightly out of left field But admitting to a mistake? That's it your just another of us lower life forms Though probably higher up the pecking order than a Yokel Though I believe promotion is imminent xlnc?

So thats why your a legend! discovered myself better than me even! but what life you r calling lower? the true one? well, in my observation ppl are more genuine behind the fake names than behind the real one. if you regard life of priests are high then you may want to know that the very first brothel used to run by the priests. that was a temple though, dedicated to goddess of love, war and sex "Ishtar".

p.s. I'd definitely feel exalted to be a friend of XLNC (upper case checked) :)
