Man sends mean text to mates about woman he's met - accidentally messages her instead

It's something we all dread doing. Those of us who've accidentally managed to send a text to the wrong person know it's a cock-up which can leave you red-faced for years.

One young man made the ultimate mistake when he tried to message his mates about a girl he was talking to - and accidentally sent it to her instead. Cringe.

To make matters worse, he had also sent a screenshot of her messages so he couldn't even pass his comment off as relating to another girl.

And his comment was less than flattering...


Have you ever sent a text message to the wrong person and deeply regretted it?

I was trying to remember. I thought it was something innocuous like "milk", but you're right - it could have been worse.

BTW my boss was th CEO of the company I was working for at the time. I was about to send my wife the message, when he texted me with a question. I answered him an got back to work. Then I remembered that I still needed to send my wife that message - pulled out the phone again, typed the message and pressed send! I only worked out later (when my wife didn't respond) that I'd sent it to the wrong person.

I've been much more careful ever since.

Your right my friend, one wrong push of the send button can determine eternal embarrassment or loss of employment. LoL....at least I don't have such problem, i have virtually no friend, my boss doesn't care enough to give me his contact details.

I didnt send an accidental text.

I had just got snapchat and they had a story option. So I though, oh ok. You make the picture story and then you send it. So I made a snap story of me dancing in my underwear preparing to send it to a guy I was seeing at the time.

Then all of a sudden I got a snap from a guy I went to school with asking what I was doing.... Thats when it dawned on me. Everyone could see.
I couldnt figure out how to delete it and panicked. First thing I did was call my brother and tell him not to open it (seriously I would never hear another word then "ew" from him for the rest of my life) then called my sister to get her to delete it. She thought it was hilarious.
A definite fml moment.
