How many of us here have done it before at least once or like myself have been waiting for the right moment to come along??
For me, it`s been on my mind for a few years and well, I`ve decided it`s time.
I`m talking about parachuting of course. I`m not getting much younger these days so I think the sooner the better.
Combine my age and the fact I have recently been diagnosed with anxiety I figured if I can jump I would feel like I can just about do anything...
What I am planning to do is what is known as a charity jump, where instead of paying the normal fee I try to raise as much money as I can towards my favourite charity. For me it will be the Cancer Council of Western Australia.
For those that are willing to help or maybe even join me and form a team so we can all jump together please feel free to send me a PM for more details... :)

Parachuting would mean I have to rely on the competence of another human being...

The Punting Gods have me earth bound for a reason.

Ahoy, No Chance, the reason I have a peg leg is that I float, after I have fallen from the deck into the ocean blue, probably due to all the Rum I drank that day.
Jumping out of Planes;- No Chance
Now where did I put my Rum Glass

Great idea BB. Telethon Adventurers do a great beach jump in Busso if your keen.

The right time rarely comes along for these things and you've got more to gain than lose

Done a few jumps and love it, the one thing I'd say is to be wary of the degree of your anxiety. Let your doctor know what you're planning and take it from there

It will be something they ask about pre jump , and plenty of people who don't suffer from anxiety attacks can be frozen still just before they jump, hell I get anxious from the rush I know I'm gonna get. The trip down I find amazing and in Aus with any respectable place you're going to be jumping tandem anyway so don't concern yourself too much on freezing up. Just practice controlling the lead up to any form of panic attack to ensure you have a great time

I know .. I'm a buzz kill at times , I think it's a fantastic idea. Just be safe and maximise your enjoyment

Hey Billy bones I see its two years since you decided to do this jump
Did you and if so how was it?

I will state openly I am to cowardly to even consider this

Tried hang gliding once that was bad enough for this yellow belly
